But really, isn't all this insistence about protection of contours for AM'ers irrelevant? The 50 K's can't even penetrate the hi-rise cores of major cities anyway, and haven't been able to do so for decades. I back up that opinion from experience in Vancouver, BC in the 80's and 90's.

I might have dreamed this so no actual testament to fact or fiction... but I have it on good authority that I once had a Korean speaking translator listen to a recording that I made of 657 Khz Pyongyang while in Hawaii and I believe she said that the announcer at the time was dedicating the sabre
