A bit of an odd morning. Had Asians in early, but rather hit or
miss. 774 had a good signal, yet 693 was only a so-so carrier. Later
on the top part of the band did better, with several X-banders near
audio, though only 1701 made it. Even that was a bit unusual, in that

I'd have to have known who I was hearing or where their parallel is first

Think in terms of parallels. If it is the usual SER suspect, there will be
other SER channels to try for a parallel.

While I'm still going over capture files from last night's mini-DXpedition in
Orleans, MA (Cape Cod), I have uploaded a few audio clips in case anyone's
interested.
These are in frequency order and are a combination of foreign and domestic
receptions. Many more clips
Nice Jim. I grew up in Lansing and remember the Grand Rapids stations. My old
log from 30+ years ago shows 1340 was WLAV. Glad to see they're sending out
QSLs. I might write for one next time I'm back visiting.
Keep reporting the QSLs. We don't see too many anymore.

Paul, should be SER network from Spain with 50 kW. The MWList is
excellent. Using it constantly here in PEI on our DXpedition, and yes,
1044 is booming in! 73, Walt

This is a good resource for seeing what is on any frequency. All you have to do
is choose the continent/region then click on the frequency.

Apparently the promised CME is having an affect on reception this evening
(morning GMT). There is either a Mexican or Cuban station on nearly every
frequency. Usually heard WGN-720 was covered by "El Fonografo", XEJCC until it
closed down just at 0300. Now I'm hearing YNRC on the frequency.
I need to get familiar with the stations on 9khz splits soon, but for
now... Lemme ask, who would be on 1044 with easy going talk by a woman in
Spanish at 0245UTC/1045 pm eastern/645pm AK time?

It must be one of my closest unheard stations. I

I remembered I had the two chokes that I built years ago at the suggestion of

80% on the R8. The Eastern Beverage is now working pretty well. At Noon today,

Rebelde is what I usually hear on 770, and its signal was audible under Reloj.
The band seems to have turned upside down the past few hours.
