I've been recording DX at sunrise for a few days now but this was the
first session worth reporting. The results were mainly the usual first
tier stations, but at least it gave me a chance to try out my reworked
antenna system..
693 JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAB, talk //774/747 mostly poor in CBU
I was up last night at 0530 checking band conditions and Alaska KQA-59 was at
its level best this season on 529 KHz with Aero weather. Usually a good sign
for favorable TP reception.

Listened from 1245-1430 utc. Asian signals dominated until 30 minutes before
sunrise when the DU's took over. Exception was JOUB 774 with good signal at
1419 utc.

I sent out three August 21 Eclipse QSL requests. I got a response from
WRAK 1400 Williamsport PA, and yesterday from WKST 1200 New Castle PA.
Still waiting for WJZ 1300 Baltimore MD. WKST 's signature is illegible,
but the title is CE.
Annual DXpedition? Gosh, Tim, I thought you went there several times a year.
