Nothing here. Tuned in just after 10 PM PST (1 AM EST) and only heard strong

Good catch Marc. I did captures at midnight and 1 a.m. local but haven't
reviewed yet. Live listening was done just before and after the midnight
capture but the consistent activity on the channel was WNSW NJ with "Relevant
Radio" programming and occasional intrusions of
I didn't even find out about the WION-1430 test until too late. No chance I
would have heard them anyway with a local pest on the frequency (CHKT).

I tried for it on the KiwiSDR out of Muscatine, Iowa, but didn't hear a thing,
even though I wasn't getting any splatter on 1430 from semi-local WOC-1420. In
fact, I heard nothing but noise on 1430, no sign of even St. Louis or
Indianapolis, making me suspect that operator Allen Kiddoo had
I tried for WION test last night but no joy here in SoCal. Couldn't get
anything through KMRB and KLO. Thanks for setting this up and notifying DX

Also heard easily here in Alabama, near Birmingham. We were hearing light
“rockabilly” music throughout, but WION-140 test tones heard easily from
approximately 0030 until just about TOH.
Thanks for this rare treat!! So great to hear a DX Test again!

Totally agree. Terrible internet presence. It was a real pain to ID for a
while. They have gotten somewhat better at TOH ID. Pretty easy now to
recognize with no other similar format on 1430 in range.

WWGB Indian Head MD on at full power killing WBZ locally just outside of NYC.
Sunday morning February 24 from 0500 to 0600 probably beyond. This was while I
was driving to work. Really killing WBZ on the frequency. Obviously very close
to my location. Huge signal.
