I listened from 1140 to 1230. Thanks to Nick for allaying my concerns that I
might have equipment issues. The TP lights and signals were definitely way down
this morning. I may need to classify this mornings results as Nick would put
it:"Near imaginary audio".

it's likely that's why your Drake is less sensitive than
the Elad.

An OK morning for TPs in CO. I did a preliminary comparison between my Elad
FDM-S2 and the Drake R8A. As Bogey said "This could be the beginning of a
beautiful friendship". I started with comparing the two JJ powerhouses, JOUB
and JOIB. The Drake had weak, barely

Hi Colin,
Thanks for the great You Tube TP DX videos. Your phaser seems to have done a
nice job on CFAX!

I got a late start, or so I initially thought this morning. I listened from
1239 to 1258. On recent listening sessions, TP signals tended to drop off
around 1230. Not so this morning.

FWIW,
I have been using a Wellbrook ALA 1530ln feeding into a Quantum Phaser for
several years. The Quantum Phaser amp quiet and provides a nice signal boost in
addition to the Wellbrook amp that came with the ALA 1530ln. The Wellbrook loop
is located indoors in my shack.

Greetings,
This past April I spent 5 days at the Kona Isle condos on the Kona Coast of

Gary,
Thanks for the comparison between the SSb SkyWave and the XHData radio. I
always enjoy reading about your efforts to tweak small, travel friendly
portables for more DXing performance. BTW the Ebay seller will be having a sale
