I've been sending reception reports to Tracy since 2004 with reports for
KXNT and KSFN (KYDZ now). He even sent an email once saying he was going to
get them to you soon back in 2004.
I'm not surprised he sent this email. He's probably too busy to respond to

Chris, in 2006 I received a letter and package from KSLL and they list it in
their paperwork as KASL/KSLL and it has KASL AM all over it. It's on their
rate card, their coverage map and their format/audience profile sheet. The
format is listed as golden oldies for the baby boomers age 50 and up.
The other stations listed in their paperwork are:
KUSA/KWSA FM
Frequencies: 100.9, 107.7, 105.5, 92.7 and 104.1.
No other AM stations mentioned.

Nice vl from Bill Croghan for my reception of KWWN Las Vegas. My report was
their first! He says they are operating under a program test authority at half
of it's eventual power. I heard them running 1 KW on their night pattern.
Eventually they will be 20 KW days, 2 KW nights.

We were out last night and I didn't get home until 11:30 PM PST/0730 UTC so I
gave 7407.5 kHz a try and they were there. Weak signal with a string of moon
bounces sometimes at the same signal level as the main signal and then a string
of missing bounces. Counting this as a utility station.
Congratulations Patrick, Sri Lanka is a great QSL! You're making it tough
for me to reach 200 before you reach 3000.

VAC Comox, BC (wx at 0935, 1220, 1540, 1835, 2335)
VAJ Prince Rupert, BC (wx at 0345, 0805, 1050,
Only a strong KKNT Phoenix here at 8:23 PM PST. Some Spanish music fades up
occasionally. I'll keep listening.

Nothing at 11 PM PST. Too much KKNT Phoenix and the station with Spanish music
that uses the slogan La Favorita, maybe KOVO?
Also heard ESPN radio in there at 11:18 PM with some code so maybe their wierd
ad with code in it.

The KKMO DX Test was heard here in So Cal.
1360 KKMO Seattle WA 1/13 12:00-12:15 AM PST sweep tones, tones, some of the
march music made it in, under and over KLSD San Diego.

I noticed the past week that XETRA-690 was using a slightly new slogan, W
Radio, La Voz del Pueblo. They also use 6-90 AM.
I also heard a station using the slogan on 990 kHz on my TRF this past week. I
don't know who that was but it might be a new slogan used on the whole network.

but didn't quite make. After getting TPs and TAs as stations 1197 to

WIND used to be a regular in Lansing when I lived there in the 70's and

Willis, the price for mailing a letter out of Canada to the US was $0.89 a
year ago. $1US should be close enough for them. If you're serious, you
should find a Canadian club member to send you a couple in trade for some US
