Rob,
Good catch on WSRO. Sounds like it's what you heard, as there aren't a lot of
other choices on 650, especially in Portuguese. There are a few Portuguese
stations in that section of Massachusetts, including one on FM I logged via
tropo a few years back that had be confused for a while.
I heard Spanish on 990 as well, until it faded out. That's an automatic red
alert for me and I also thought of WXCT, but I couldn't any ID.
For Delaware, I would think your best bet would be WDEL-1150 or WDOV-1410.

Not sure Paul- I usually avoid listening to Radio Ted when I tune their
frequency. I'm still mad at them for making me wait an hour for an ID one
night when they weren't IDing or making any announcements one night. Thought I
had something interesting (when Radio Ted was supposedly dark) and
D'oh! I just noticed- that should have been 97.3, not 97.9 out of Millville
NJ- the South Jersey outlet for New Jersey 101.5. *slaps head*
Is it Friday yet?

I think I had Arabic as well around 1845 EDT, fading in and out- on my DT-400W
barefoot no less. I don't think it was Cuba.
