Hi Brandon.  I suppose there isn't that much to be gained by 48 kB/s digitizing 
over 32 kB/s when 5 or 6 kHz is likely the highest audio frequency being stored.

Hi Mark. I also use SDR -> Total Recorder for all of my DX recordings.
Do you have any particular reason for using MP3 48kb/24 kHz mono for
your recordings? I have been using MP3 32kb/22.050 kHz mono and am
curious if this isn't optimum.
