All times and dates strictly UT [4 hours ahead of `ELT`]. Rx: mostly DX-398
with internal antenna only; or Sony SRF-59 as specified; Nissan stock caradio
as specified; FRG-7 with E/W longwire as specified

These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also
VHF/UHF, sometimes, utility, ham, which may be found in several archives
without much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser

And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and
publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open

These logs are in four sexions, Canada [if any], Oklahoma [if any], rest of
USA, unidentified, separated by ======= Within each, they are in frequency order

** OKLAHOMA. 1120, Oct 13 circa 1845 UT on caradio, and any other daytime, KEOR
Catoosa/Tulsa (really Sperry site), now has enough signal to believe it is
really running 7 kW as called for in its CP, ex-2 kW: respectable but of course
always weaker signal compared to 50 kW KFAQ 1170, R. Victoria with its Spanish
praise music and preaching. Also seems reliably on the air now after months of
sporadicity. And have not heard this daytimer for sure lately at night vs KMOX
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA. 1120, Oct 17 at 1420-1427 UT on caradio, KEOR Sperry is open
carrier/dead air, but silent signal seems still up to the 7 kW level (Glenn
Hauser, Enid, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** OKLAHOMA. KGYN 1210 inaudible again: see USA: KUBR log
WBBZ 1230 possibly with Coast to Coast? see UNIDENTIFIED

** OKLAHOMA. 1210, Oct 13 circa 1845 UT on caradio, no signal audible from KGYN
Guymon, which normally reaches Enid on groundwave. Also on DX-398 at home after
0500 Oct 14, still can`t hear KGYN, so if on the air at all, must be keeping to
night pattern also in day, null toward Philadelphia and Enid. Finally at 1214
UT Oct 14 I can barely hear it with adstring, 1216 KGYN weather, 1216 ``US
Country``. Whatever signal they have is now getting an SRS boost (Glenn Hauser,
Enid, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

===================

** U S A [and non]. 720, Oct 11 at 1209 UT, studio talk show pauses for Grupo
Radio Centro plug, romantic song in English, loops WSW, so no doubt the only
Mexican in the northwest, per Cantú:
720 XEJCC Extremo 7-20 Cd. Juárez, Chih. 1,000 1,0000 [sic]
then mixing with another Spanish station much further east which I can still
hear by nulling the first one, but that`s not XEDE in Saltillo now, instead
KSAH Universal City TX, since San Antonio mentioned, and 1216 UT ad in Spanish
for A-1 Car Stereo, on I-10, also has 877- toll-free number. KSAH is listed
with ESPN Deportes, but this may have been a local show as well as local ads
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 810, Oct 15 at 0551 UT as I am dozing off, song outro ``on KLVZ`` in
English, i.e. Brighton CO, 430 watts night with a little lobe towards us while
WHB Kansas City provides a big null, not a problem (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 880, Oct 11 at 1230 UT, talk in Navajo with some English terms thrown
in; therefore, KHAC Window Rock AZ/Tse Bonito NM. May have been a bit of
Spanish too, soon losing to English religion, probably KLRG; while KRVN keeps
nulled 90 degrees away (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 880, Oct 15 at 1229 UT, man singing hymn in presumed Navajo, 1233
into `Unshackled` in English; KHAC making SAH of about 5 Hz, but way over KRVN
just before sunrise here, long before sunrise in Window Rock (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1010, Oct 16 at 1229 UT, promos for KXEN, 1230 preacher. Maybe not
yet back up to 50 kW day power, but sure sounds like more than STA of 350
watts; St Louis MO, but site in IL (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1020, Oct 16 at 1231 UT, Spanish plugging dinosaur exhibit in
Lincoln, but pronouncing dino names in English, reference to
http://discoverthedinosaurs.com where we see it`s only a travelling exhibit,
``October 18-19-20, 2013, Lincoln, NE, Lancaster Event Center``. Makes one Hz
SAH with nearby KOKP Perry OK almost nulled. 1232 ``La Estación de la Raza``,
i.e. KMMQ Plattsmouth (Omaha) NE, 50/1.4 kW so maybe already on day power
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1060, Oct 13 at 1206 UT after an ID from R. Educación in Mexico City,
it`s losing out to weather from KGFX, 10/1 kW in Pierre SD. Must be pre-sunrise
there as it is here (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1200, Oct 15 at 1242 UT, Spanish discussion of Obamacare, no doubt
not a Mexican, but WRTO Chicago, and dominant with little from WOAI, which a
few minutes later is regaining from opposite direxion (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1210, Oct 13 at 0603 UT, Mexican praise music, with KGYN OK inaudible
again, back on proper night pattern for a change?? 0604, lengthy IDs pronounced
in English for network of stations starting with KUBR 1210, San Juan TX in the
RGV, and going as far as Deming NM, including FM translators (Glenn Hauser, OK,
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1210, Oct 16 at 1245 UT, remnant of KGYN easily nulled, so from N/S,
I hear school lunch menus starting with Woonsocket (?! Can`t be Rhode Island as
there are no 1210s anywhere in New England in deference to Philadelphia), then
for Huron schools, 7:47 TC, 30 degrees, KOKK, to join the American Ag Network
in a few minutes. Yes, there is a Woonsocket in SD south of Huron (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1691, DX LISTENING DIGEST) Not KKOK as I misspokke
on WOR 1690

===============

UNIDENTIFIED. 541.2, Oct 12 at 0051, carrier hetting 540 stations. I am still
not quite certain whether this is a local device, or perhaps a real station,
off-frequency (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1230, Oct 13 at 0608 UT, `Coast to Coast AM` opening hour with
usual phone-numbers, is slightly atop the graveyard pileup. Hard to get a
bearing, but seems NNE/SSW give or take. Could it be my nearest 1230, WBBZ
Ponca City OK, normally buried at night? So I start checking this and other
possible states to the north and south on the C2C affiliate list website. NO
1230s listed in: OK, ND, SD, WY, NE, MO, KS, IA, TN, MS, LA. So that leaves
these possibilities:

KWTX Waco TX, KBTM Jonesboro AR, WJBC Bloomington IL, KTRF Thief River Falls
MN, KWNO Winona MN, KEXO Grand Junxion CO --- any of which would be a good
graveyard catch. But I suppose it could still be WBBZ as own website does not
account for anything in the overnight hours:
http://www.wbbz.com/schedule.htm
Sometime I should try their webcast after midnite
(Glenn Hauser, Enid OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
