These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also
VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham, which may be found in several archives without
much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser

And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and
publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:
http://www.worldofradio.com/dxldmid.html

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open
access:
http://forums.wtfda.org/showthread.php?6543-MW-DX-from-Enid-OK-by-Glenn-Hauser/page44

All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 with internal antenna only
or PL-880; NRD-545 with ALA-330S inside E-W or inside randomwire N-S; Nissan
stock caradio as specified; ICR-75 with E-W longwire; FRG-7 with NW-SE shortwire

UNIDENTIFIED. 690, Jan 27 at 0726 UT, ``La Única, FM 99 y 690 AM`` non-ID amid
music. Nothing fits in Mexican or US listings (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** MEXICO. In re: 690, XEMA: ``UNIDENTIFIED. 690, Jan 16 at 0712 UT, Spanish
canciones interrupted by non-ID for ``La Reina, 107.9 FM y 690 AM``. Searching
FM and AM lists and broad searches lead nowhere. A few US SS stations don`t
match. Figure it`s Mexican, pretty good DF at SW/NE. Possibly XEMA Fresnillo,
Zacatecas, 50/2 kW, listed with an FM on 107.1 by Cantú and IRCA --- but on
107.9 in WRTH 2016 --- but2, name in all as ``La Mejor``. However, I am not
100% sure that the word I heard was Reina (queen). I am more certain of the FM
frequency, which in Spanish unlike English would not be confundible with 107.1.
More to the SW is one other Mexican, XEST, Mazatlán, Sinaloa, 2/0.25 kW, but
with FM on 94.7 and called ``Romántica``. Maybe there`s been a recent change at
one of these which will eventually emerge (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)``

The [FM] station has moved, and the move is not super recent. XHEMA is listed
as 107.1 in IFT, but their social profiles say 107.9. The change seems to have
occurred between September 16-25, 2013. This also lines up with a YouTube video
they posted at the time:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sonbf-04XuA

You posted back in September that you had a "107.9" on 690, correctly assumed
you had XEMA but figured you had misheard "107.1". You definitely had a "107.9".

There is nothing in the RPC on this one. The technical information available is
all for the 107.1 which was assigned at migration (25 kW from a site in
Fresnillo used as a tower farm). They do brand as "La Mejor Zacatecas" and I
have to wonder if the frequency move might also have meant other changes, such
as moving from Fresnillo to Zacatecas where B-15 has no radio stations.
(Zacatecas Capital has a 106.5.) I'd suggest writing B15 for more information.

[re 720 log Jan 21:] I'm working on a compilation of translated Mexican PSAs
from XEPE (some of them are a real hoot for all sorts of reasons), and I can
tell you that the deputies ad you mentioned says 211 of the 500 deputies are
women. (That's slightly more than 40%.) The funny thing is that, like a bunch
of other PSAs about women and almost all the other PSAs I've heard, it gets a
male voiceover in English (Raymie Humbert, AZ, Jan 21, WTFDA Forum via DXLD)

** MEXICO. 810, Jan 22 at 1308 UT, long talk about the PRI and Tamaulipas, each
mentioned several times, elexion coming 5 de junio; 1313 fade. This time I
tentatively think it`s XEFW Tampico on 50 kW day power by now, instead of 100
watt XERI Reynosa, which I definitely heard in the nightmiddle. Altho Neil
Kazaross says XERI was already announcing 5 kW (day anyway) a year ago despite
later listings as 1 kW (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
