These logs are excerpts from my daily
all-band reports, mainly SWBC,
also VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham,
which may be found in several
archives without much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser

And compiled weekly along with
extensive news from many other
individuals and publications in DX
LISTENING DIGEST:
http://www.worldofradio.com/dxldmid.html

All my MW DX reports starting August
2011 are archived in this forum with
open access:
http://forums.wtfda.org/showthread.php?6543-MW-DX-from-Enid-OK-by-Glenn-Hauser/page79
[over 388,000 views! as of October 26, 2019]

All times and dates strictly UT. Rx:
mostly DX-398 with internal antenna
only or PL-880; NRD-545 with ALA-330S
inside E-W or inside randomwire N-S;
Nissan stock caradio
as specified; ICR-75 with 100-foot E-W
longwire.

** MOROCCO. 595.9, Oct 25 at 0608, JBA carrier. Before a bandscan,
see UNIDENTIFIED, I check for this first, as the low-power 50 kW Oujda
transmitter of SNRT has been reported by Chris McWhinnie and Alan
Pennington of the British DX Club, further off-frequency than usual
595 instead of 594, and there it is! Wolfgang Bueschel precisioned it
at 595.896 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 1090, Oct 21 at 0559, YL promo for `Milenio Diario`
newscast at L-V times, 0600 into infomercial. Still no ID, but another
match for XEAU, Monterrey, since searching immediately finds:

``XEAU-AM is a radio station on 1090 AM in Monterrey, Nuevo León. It
is owned by Multimedios Radio and carries Milenio Radio along with
sister station XHFMTU-FM 103.7 HD3. Wikipedia``. Of course that does
not prove that no other 1090 station airs M.D., but surely XEAU, our
closest 1090 anyway is the one I have been hearing. As usual, KAAY
from the east can be nulled, but not the annoying 1089 het from the
700+ kW of UK synchros (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2005, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 1090, Oct 26 at 0605 UT, Spanish from south easy with KAAY
from the east nulled and initially dead-air. It`s an infomercial not
for mattresses but now for ``Vitac-30`` [?], an antiseptic, referring
to phone number to call ``en pantalla``, i.e. on the screen, another
*television* infomercial. The number probably depends on which station
is airing it in order to track response sources, but it`s rather hard
to ``see`` on the radio! Maybe they later inserted it verbally. That
name is incorrect; searching, there is a Vita-C vitamin supplement.
Anyhow, still presumed XEAU, Monterrey NL (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. Re my ID of the 1130 station as XEYZ Aguascalientes2, still
on the AM air, Tim Hall, editor of the IRCA Mexican Log, replies,
first on the ABDX yg:

``Thanks for the update. This is very odd. I can't imagine what they
would be doing back on the air. They surrendered their AM license
almost a year and a half ago (see URL below for a copy of the
self-cancellation letter). I haven't heard anything about them being
forced to turn the AM back on (a "continuity obligation" can be
invoked if the Mexican government determines that the AM shutdown
leaves even a few people with no remaining radio or TV coverage). The
AM license was not restored as of the August 2019 IFT list. Maybe it
will show up on the next list?

73 Tim``

And directly Oct 21: ``For now I've added the note to the Mex list
database. I'll see if I can re-log XEYZ from the Border Inn next
weekend. Hopefully I'll catch XECHAP too, if they made their projected
on-air date of Oct 4th.

XEYZ-1130 is still including AM 1130 in their ID: 1 File 381.6 kB
https://www.w4uvh.net/20191020_2302_XEYZ_1130_web_stream_ID.mp3
...despite surrendering the AM license almost a year and a half ago.
The attached ID was taken from their web stream a few minutes ago. 73
Tim`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2005, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

On the WTFDA Forum, Raymie Humbert, AZ, also replies October 20: XEYZ
still on air!? What necromancy is this? This is an AM that nearly 18
months ago told the IFT "you can have the AM back, thank you": [4 pp]

What is going on?`` (Glenn Hauser, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Pacific JBA MW carrier search, presunrise 1244 UT
Oct 21 at 1230-1237; on the R75 with E-W longwire this time, so no

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, Oct 25 at
0609-0618: this time on the R-75 I am tuning LSB, 1 kHz above 9 kHz
channels, instead of the usual USB 1 kHz below; this could turn up
some different ones with different 10-kHz channel QRM/splash
situations: 531, 585, 603, 612, 621, 666(2), 684, 693, 711, 729(2),
747*, 774(2), 792, 801, 837, 8446, 855(2), 882, 936, 999, 1017, 1098,
1107, 1125(2), 1179(2) but none higher. * means stronger than the
others; (2) means at least two carriers beating. See also MOROCCO!
