Late last night while a friend and I were driving home from a midnight meal at Canters Deli, I noticed next to the 10 freeway just below downtown L.A., the former KGFJ 1230 horizontal "hammock" style long wire antenna which is still atop that building, is all decked out in multi colored Christmas lights. The support poles and guy wires form Christmas trees. Quite an impressive sight. Hope I can get back up that way for some photos. Currently KYPA 1230 diplexes from the 1580 tower site. ms
