My companion (Charlotte) and I want to buy her 83-year-old mother a radio capable of receiving the Sirius service. We want to get a set for indoor use with ergonomics and display that will be reasonably easy for her to use. She is much sharper than her years might indicate, but not particularly techno-savvy (neither am I - HA!). We aren't afraid to spend a few bucks, but want to ensure we get the best value for price.
If you have any thoughts along these lines, please e-mail me back directly so we don't clutter up the lists with OT stuff. And my apologies on the front end for this OT posting. 73s, Jim Pogue KH2AR/WPE9HLJ/KG6DX1A Memphis, Tennessee USA NRD-535, R-390A, ICF-2010 Wellbrook LA5030 loop, PAØRDT mini-whip, attic longwire, Quantum phaser QRZ.com/KH2AR _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
