I wouldn't recommend that method, as the sound quality is never as good
via a small microphone
Some of you know that I use old boat anchors to DX, the newest radio I use is

Do you have a smartphone or tablet? If so, there are plenty of apps that
make it easy to record and then transfer the file to a computer. One might
be preinstalled on your device.
