I'm happy to see such an arrangement improves reception. In the past I've
thought about trying it myself. With recent TP signal propagation I need a
boost!
Good DX.

Hope that you enjoyed your overnight visit to Jeju Island Gary. I
was quite pleased with HLAZ' signal near sunrise this morning, but
your reception decidedly blew that out of the water. That was quite
a menacing looking pair of FSLs too.

At 06:50 12-02-17,
Early morning antenna testing coincided with moderately good TP-DX conditions
from 1300-1400 UTC this morning (in predawn darkness). 594, 747, 972 and 1575
were managing fair to good signals, while 1566-HLAZ was peaking at very good
levels.
For kicks I phased the gain boost (on 1566-HLAZ's
Hello All,
1575-VOA was the primary star of the morning here, with the Thailand big gun
having its best signals of the new year (good) just after 1500. There were also
some other fair Asian signals on both the low and high band, although sunrise

Hello All,
Asian propagation was similar to yesterday's in that a good variety of TP's
managed audio on both the low and high bands, although very energetic signals
were sparse. Once again the Japanese were well represented, with another
unusually good signal from 1134-JOQR.
