I use Chrome on my PC and the embedded player on the shoutcast page doesn't
work for me, but there's m3u and xspf links in the upper right that might

Oh, I forgot to add, Radio Kiribati only broadcasts local programming at
certain times of day. Sometimes I'll hear Radio new Zealand International
outside of local broadcasting, other times I won't

Well, I just found out something to those of us interested in Pacific radio
signals. Radio Kiribati 1440 JUST started a live webstream.. JUST.. as in,
like within the last few days!
The audio levels can be a bit loud and overdriven at times, but i am

I've just been notified the 2 CD recordings I ordered and paid for have
been made and will be mailed out Wednesday from Kiribati. I should have
them in about 10 days or so.
I can't wait to get them as their daily 1 hour english broadcast is always
a treat to listen to with some good classic countr
Another addition to my aircheck collection is on the way.. I've ordered 2
CD's from Radio Kiribati AM1440. I have 3 or 4 from them previous and once
or twice a year, I'll email them and order more.
For $10AUD I get a CD mailed to me, postage included.. and the CD is a

As a bit of a holiday gift to everyone, I want to share 3 one hour long
airchecks I got of Radio Kiribati 1440.
They were recorded in the studio by the station, at a cost to me of $10AUD
for each one. Very worth it, if you ask me.

For those interested... Here is a 1 hour aircheck from just after Christmas

sole hour of daily english programming, featuring country music...
For your listening pleasure, another aircheck/recording of Radio Kiribati

I got another aircheck on CD via regular mail today and thought I'd share
it with others.
Here's the link to the 50 minute recording:

The Pacific has such a very rich history of broadcasting. I wish I
would have been at the dials back during WWII as there were so many

I don't like giving up and getting the contact and working to get the

This station has rich history. I QSL'd them back when they were the
Gilbert & Ellice Islands on 844 kHz, then later on 846 kHz as Radio
Kiribati. It used to be a common visitor here. I have not tried for them
on 1440 kHz as yet though.
Good going on your aircheck.

Well, after 2 years of trying.. I was finally able to contact them. I like
collecting recordings of radio stations, especially once so far away and
remote like Radio Kiribati.
I'd been trying for 2 years via email and snail mail to contact Radio
Kiribati but my attempts went unanswered for whatev
