My daughter has a request. She is moving to Seattle next month. She
wants to know how well KNBR-680 can be heard in Seattle in the
eveningsundown to midnight? She is a Warriors fan hopes to be
able to hear them on KNBR.
Thanks all.

Don,
I would think if she was away from electrical noise, KNBR should come in
fine. Here on the Oregon coast it is very strong after dark, hard to get
by to DX 680.

You are not incorrect Marty. They are on KNBR-1050 (otherwise known as KTCT)
when KNBR-680 is carrying either the 49ers or Giants games when they are on at
the same time. Maybe the way the
two teams play/played this year they'll put the Giants on 1050 next season.

As others have mentioned, KNBR comes in quite nicely around here. I
still remember a time (albeit in the 1970s) when I watched a
brother-in-law tune them in by mistake, thinking he had KIRO. KNBR
might be QRMed by images from KLFE-1590 (1590-910=680) on radios with

Chuck,
Right you are! KBRW is my most wanted IDed Alaskan. I know I have
heard it and the GM has stated it, but no def. ID as yet. I think you
have heard NPR on 680 too. A toughie to say the least. I wish KNBR had a
nice silent period on occasion. But they are rarely off. KGO KCBS are
off more
