A QSL card is a QSL card. I'd rather have one, then none at all.
The QSL

RE: B. If we insist that stations handle the QSL's, especially for major
tests like the ones in Montana or Utah, then you'll have very few tests.
Stations simply don't have the resources that they once did. Offering to
handle QSL chores make it easier to get tests,

I too am very gratefull that Les has taken on the job handling the
QSLing. He does a wonderful job. The QSLs he does are sure nice looking
too.
In this day, if we continue to QSL, we need to accept what is offered.
I am happy to get anything back.

I totally agree. If we DX more, we can hear new stations and get more

Willis and all; I have sadly missed out on several recent test QSLs
because the only format I have available for recording is cassette tape.
Patrick,
Send me the copies of the cassettes of the QSLs you want from Les. I
will be very happy to copy them onto CD's for you. I have the standalone
DVD/CD recorder. I have sent my reports to Les via snail-mail and I have
enclosed the CD. I have enclosed my e mail address as Les can just send

First of all, a big Thank you to both Willis and Patrick for their

Paul,
In the case of KAVT, the CE contacted me to ask if I would be interested
in doing the QSLing. I jumped at the chance. It has been a lot of fun
and I get to see hear first hard a jillion reports worldwide. Plus, if
the report is correct the DXer will get that QSL too. I really

I didn't mean to stir up all of this controversy again. We all went

Les, please do not feel bad for my situation. As Russ said, if it were
that important to me I should find a way to make it
Russ,
I have always wished we could get a bunch of guys to handle the QSLing
for the stations. It would make it a lot easier.

Patrick,
I know where you are coming from. With the computer I don't have the
knowlege I need to send audio in an e mail as yet. That is why I send
the CD. I have the Lite On DVD/CD burner/recorder I bought a few years
ago. It does a fine job on burning CDs, but the DVDs do not always work
out
Hi Les-
Tell ya' what I am going to do, just for you.
I will volunteer to handle the QSLing for the test.
You keep the Test Coordinator hat and keep all the pat-on-the-back's, stuff
like that and I could handle all the QSLing.
I offer this because you seem to have a problem in wanting to do,
