There is an FCC. However, if they acted on every single DX'ers report of I think this station is running over powered that's all they'd ever be investigating. As much as I don't like stations running overpower, they have other pressing matters to attend to. And unless you have field measurements

Paul, I e mailed an FCC official about a station once and the FCC official being in Portland did not really investagate the station as it was in another state where there are no FCC officials. I don't blame the FCC as they do not have the resources or manpower to ride herd on broadcasters today.
