I would like to add something to my previous post..
In many cases, skywave interference near
WBZ IBOC was legally on until 5 PM CST the last couple of years and
hammered
KDKA here in IL from about 3:30 PM(earlier in Dec) CST to 5 PM (IBOC shut
off) during Nov to early Feb.
I think once more people get a handle on just what that noise is they're
hearing, the complaints will increase a
WBZ has been asked to lower their IBOC power I was told and they have
refused. I have no idea if there is truth to that or not as I heard it
second hand. The courts may be looking into this sooner than we think!

Somehow I wonder if this is true. flat out refusing to lower IBOC
power when they are itnerfering with a station is just stupid, but then
again WBZ has a huge signal.. and someones problem complaining about a
station outside their coverage area.
Who asked WBZ to lower their IBOC power?
Thanks. I am hoping Industry Canada and the stations will start
complaining too (If they haven't already). We need all the help we can
get.
