I ask about this from the perspective of someone surprised he owns one. I
had forgotten I bought one over 10 years ago for an older relative who
could not get reliable radio reception. My recollection is the set-up and
installation was called off before it got started for (their) health
Definitely hearing a good carrier although 1-2 second fades here barefoot
on 2010 using USB mode.
Nothing so far on 567.
Carrier from 966.7 reported a few nights ago is now on aprox 967.3

around 0405, both best on Af beverage. Nick, I'll watch 567 for fade out
time, I got here too late to check any fade in times

Hi Eric,
The twin coil ferrite antenna is very good for a 7.5 remotely-tuned
ferrite antenna. Its main plus is you can site it away from
interference and still be able to tune it from the receiver end.
Gary DeBock uses the Amidon 7.5 ferrite rod as a transplant antenna on
ULR radios, and gets
I have a Tecsun PL310ET for sale. I bought it when I needed to track down a
problem with reception and make sure it wasn't the other radio or antenna I
already had.
There's nothing wrong with this, I just don't need it anymore. It works
fine, audio sounds good and reception is good.
