A very similar morning to yesterday here in southern Alberta. Missing a
few that I heard yesterday, but also heard a few that didn't make it
yesterday. Hearing N.Korea on 720 is very rare here, so I think that
would qualify as the highlight of the morning, though NHK on 927 is also
rare.
Not quite so good as yesterday, but still pretty lively.
These mornings, the "sunrise" peak seems to be around 1540UT, about 20
minutes before actual sunrise.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

Wow. Looks like it hit Port Orchard, on the west side of Puget Sound, and
not Seattle itself. I'm not aware of any DXers in that neck of the woods.
Not too far from us in Victoria, BC, either. Truly, a very rare event

Thanks Colin (and Walt),
If not for the intelligence reports from Victoria regarding yesterday's TP
bonanza, I would have missed out on some exciting DX this morning (along with
some rain, wind and stares at the local park). Overall, it was an excellent
opportunity both to get back into the

Something else that might not be hurting reception is that it's omni at present
due to a downed tower from a storm.

Interesting observation, Colin. For me, my best frequencies are between
594 and 1134. That includes TA activity, as well. Higher doesn't seem to
do as well, with the most obvious being 1386 from Lithuania in our local
evenings. I barely ever hear anything while you fellas in Oak Bay/Gordon
Todays showcase of all things Trans-Pacific radio signals felt that they
took a 3 db drop over yesterday - that said, I was at the dial a whopping
20 minutes later than yesterday and that
could have accounted for the fade interval.
That said, there were good signals on primaries and secondaries

For those of you who haven't got VOA Sao Tome 1530 in the log yet, you might
want to try at sign-off time.
Recent reception here, really blasting at times, 9 DEC at 2200 UTC / 5 p.m. EST:

True to the reports from Victoria yesterday, the Asians put on quite a
powerful show again this morning. It wasn't quite up to Hawaiian standards or
even the wacky conditions of late October, but it was still pretty entertaining.
