pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

Thanks Nick.
I later saw some comments on the Topband reflector indicating very
location-dependent opinions as to whether it was "the best of times" or "the
worst of times". Strange indeed. Re MW DX here on the East Coast, I'm not even
sure anyone had radios on.

Haven't seen any IRCA replies on this Mark, but
N7DF recently walked back his comments a bit
after seeing quite a few of the other 160m
contestants saying how poor conditions had been.
My own comments that you quoted were from Sunday
morning, traditionally a time when contests on

Hello.

As others have said - THANKS Colin and THANKS to Walt for hosting this in
Massett! That'll be something.
These KiwiSDRs are pretty robust, having had one running unattended over two
winters now in Lubec, Maine.
Biggest concern is the antenna -- totally unattended antennas in tough spots

Greetings Colin,
Thanks for making the KIWI SDR in Victoria available! What fun! Even with the

I have added numerous full-length propaganda clips (AM FM SW) that I hadn't
featured before, as well as photos and more. My old page was merely a temporary

I don't see any reason (economic or electrical) to use any of the alternatives
except Cat5 / CAT6. The balanced nature of twisted pair can only be an
advantage.
