Definitely poorer reception of TPs in Victoria this morning

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK piano and orchestral music //567 1453UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling with splash or noise):

774 JOUB English lessons 1451UT

972 HLCA man in Korean 1505UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could
be understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK //594 1446UT

693 JOAB English lessons slipping past CBU; //747 1514UT

747 JOIB //693 1514UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

576 2NR pips and fanfare 1500UT, very weak

603 soft instrumental music typical of HLSA 1455UT

828 JOBB //747 1456UT

873 JOGB //774 1450UT

891 JOHK NHK nyusu after pips //594 1500UT

1242 woman talking, Japanese intonation 1553UT

1287 woman talking, Japanese intonation 1610UT

1557 pop vocal 1528UT; Taiwan?

1575 VoA two women talking, 1521UT, sounding almost Japanese, but couple of
Voice of America IDs at 1530UT cleared it up

1593 CNR1? woman talking, Chinese intonation 1539UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged
by splatter)

 621 639 657 855 864 918 945 954 1134 1386 1422 1494 1503 1566 seemed to be
Asian;
612 702 738 891 1017 1098 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
