would do a bit of band scanning. I have been busy during the day that I
have not really been able to check the band out for a long time during
the day. I repaired the Eastern beverage a few months back and got it

KGA is about S3-S4, but I have to run the passband over away to probably
1508 to hear KGA fairly clearly as the Regional Mexican from KGDD is
strong. However, a bit ago I was phasing the Eastern Beverage against
the NE EWE and I had KKXA way on top of 1520 with their CW.

530, Habana, now runs a Rebelde feed, previously ran Cadena Habana, power
unknown. 570 RR supposedly runs 30 Kw, but who can say? At one time, FS was

RVC-530 heard (and recorded) many times here at mid-day at 1,380 miles, about
1,376 of those across salt water. I'll send you an mp3 off-list.

R. Voz Cristiana is frequently audible, during daylight hours,
aboard Camp Lejeune during winter months or during storms...this at the
beach area adjacent to where RECON does their fun
