As the U.S. mid terms approach on the 6th of the month, I wish for all our American friends a peaceful and satisfying process.
As wacky and upside down as the American experiment in democracy feels sometimes, it’s still the envy of 90+% of the Planet. Stay strong. As the winter “calm” approaches, and we spend maybe a few minutes less at the radio dial (fat chance lately...) and a few more moments of reflection thinking about what 2019 might bring - I’m reflecting on what kind of contribution I might make next year. This is where I call upon the readers of the IRCA reflector: my strengths are working with my hands, taking ideas and concepts and turning them into functional objects. If there’s anyone that feels like: “Hey, I’d like to have that in the shack... a gadget... a switch... a pre-amp... audio processor... anything. “ shout it out off list. I’m reminded of cooking up quite a few YouTube videos this season. Not much of a following and they do need work in the production department. I remembered today that on one of them I’ve offered a “free” Phaser in a Christmas give away - all the reader needed to do was place a follow up comment... like “put me down for one!” In the comment field.
