An interesting morning including Japan, Korea, China and even tentatively. Australia. Not much sunrise enhancement, but quite a lot of weakish signals up to and just after 1500UT, pretty much done by 1510UT. In spite of the early fade out, HLAZ was noted very weakly, at 1612UT, with woman talking, CC inflection. Oh yes, nice big KBBI ID on 890 just after 1500UT, after a reading of the tide tables.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): 774 JOUB man in JJ 1452UT reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise): 594 JOAK NHK1 musical interlude (what the heck IS that, very recognizable after years of hearing it) 1510UT 828 JOBB man in JJ //774 1452 not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker: 567 JOIK man talking //594 1450UT 612 likely 4QR, some sort of radio drama?, knocking on door, "anyone home?" "I want to marry you" and other normal everyday conversations. 972 HLCA woman in KK 1504UT 1287 JOHR man in JJ 1511UT 1575 VoA man talking, SE Asian language, at 1508UT Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) : 747 JOIB man and woman talking //774 1451UT 891 unID. woman talking not //594 1503UT 1044 CRI pop mx not //7400 1456UT, but definite CRI chimes and fanfare at 1500UT 1116 4BC? man talking DU EE inflection, 1446UT. Recording on hour yielded "only" weak Chinese pips. 1143 unID. woman talking just after 1500UT, but nothing much on hour per recording 1152 unID. snippets of mx with woman talking, not //774, sounded almost CC inflection, 1458UT.
