of carriers on the other regulars.   The Iranian jammer on 1575 is 
showing up very clearly on the Perseus today.

Have audio now and again on 1413.    Not overly exciting, but the first 
TA audio I've had in a couple of weeks.


Carriers on several of the other usual suspects (1566, 1386, 1215, 1089, 
855, 693)


Hopefully a sign we'll be getting out the recent doldrums.

0400UT here in Victoria, and it's all gone now.  There didn't seem

  Had a very similar set of TA carriers tonight as I did the other 
evening, with a few additions:


1575, 1574.93, 1503, 1467, 1413, 1386, 1215, 1179, 1152, 1089, 999

Vesti FM  on 1413 produced a couple of minutes of audio at 0240, and 
1386 has been close at times, but the others are considerably weaker.

None are threatening audio, but it's the nearest in quite some time.  No

   Only carriers, but a fair number tonight.   A quick scan just now 
showed immediately noticable carriers on 711, 783, 1026, 1089, 1107, 
1215, 1377, 1422, and 1566.1377 is the closest to audio, but still 
has a way to go.

A bunch of TA carriers again this evening.  About 20 or so noted on 
a quick scan, with brief bits of pop music on 1215, with 702 and 1413 
also on the verge of audio at times.   Also a decent carrier from 
presumed Farda on 1575, along with a weaker one a bit low in frequency 
(Iran?).

carriers audible tonight.  They tend to pop up and down quite quickly, 
but a quick scan at 0340 showed carriers on:

675, 855, 954, 999, 1107, 1215, 1296, 1422, 1566 1584.

1215 and 999 are the best of the bunch.

1215 and 1089 seem to be the best from Victoria just after 0400UT, 
but 909 is getting serious now also.   0413UT rock mx beat on 
1215, song actually pretty anodyne, but same as on the web stream, 
and gone again


Others are 1566 1557 1485 SAH (4 carriers) 1422 1404 1377 1008 999 
855 774...and yes, erratic.

1215 finally has a faintly audible carrier here now Nigel at 0620UT, 
noticeable SAH between 1215.0001 and 1214.9966kHz.  Pretty much 
imaginary carriers on 1089 and 1377.  Maybe tomorrow night.

tonight, and indeed have found quite a few.  None are threatening to 
turn into audio, but 1215 and 1377 have been very noticeable carriers.   
A quick scan just now (0400 UTC) also showed weaker ones on 693, 
855,864,909,927,0144,1107,1116,1206, and 1422.

A quick check at 0435UT here yielded the strongest 1215 carrier heard 
yet, in fact I thought there should have been audio, but not while I 
listened.  1053 was the next strongest, and the rest were quite 
weak:  783, 855, 864, 909, 927, 1008, 1107, 1116, 1206 and 
1377.   Unfortunately, I had a couple of other things on the go 
around the house, and by 0450UT recheck, things had faded quite a 
lot.   Maybe starting to listen at local sunset tomorrow would be a 
good idea if conditions hold up.

on 1215.  Rather weak, and suffering from T-storm noise tonight, but 
nice to hear some audio regardless.  Other substantial hets noted on 
999, 1107 (and 1107.13),1269,1305, 1377, 1413, 1422, as well as numerous 
lesser ones.  None at all on the lower half of the dial.

maybe African TA's I've been chasing all summer.

In checking 1377, I was reminded that KRKO-1380 no longer seems to be running

more of snow and temps nearing -30C!), and while doing some testing 
afterwards noted audio from Croatia.   Just now they were playing what 
sounded like the Croatian version of Jingle Bells.   Quite a few other 
carriers, but no other audio noted.

As usual, I'm getting not bad audio at times from Farda on 1575.  Yes, 1134 has 
a good carrier with snippets of audio as well at 01:10  (Farda was heard about 
30 minutes ago at good strength)...Walt in Victoria, where for a change
it's also very cold for us.down to about - 10 deg C.  Farda is good right 
now at S5 level at 01:11strongest I've heard them in a while.

nothing much here as of 0110UT, Nigel, good carrier earlier on 1215, something 
still on 1575, and a quick scan revealed weak carriers on 702 and 783 only.

As usual, I'm getting not bad audio at times from Farda on 1575.  Yes, 1134 
has a good carrier with snippets of audio as well at 01:10  (Farda was heard 
about 30 minutes ago at good strength)...Walt in Victoria, where for a 
change
it's also very cold for us.down to about - 10 deg C.  Farda is good right 
now at S5 level at 01:11strongest I've heard them in a while.


Not bad audio either from 1539, perhaps UAE in Urdu?  .Walt.

well, moments later, carriers appeared on a number of other channels including 
864, 999, 1017, 1134, 1269 and 1377, but no hope of any audio yet.

nothing much here as of 0110UT, Nigel, good carrier earlier on 1215, something 
still on 1575, and a quick scan revealed weak carriers on 702 and 783 only.

Nick, I'm getting a lot of carriers, but mostly on the upper band, so you might 
look up there1539 is especially strong...Walt.

Things seem to have dipped here at the moment, but Croatia rose to a 
pretty good level after my previous e-mail, and also had a few minutes 
of audio on 1575 and some weak audio on 1548 and 693.

TA Carriers present here in Northern Colorado are: 531, 585, 639 (got Spain
here last night), 729, 738, 747, 774, 819, 855, 873, 882, 891 (big, but
never any audio + WLS splat), 909, 999, 1017, 1044 (fair), 1134 (good, but
IBOC always present), 1179, 1206 (beginning to show audio), and 1215 (vy
weak audio). Most carriers are weak, but have potential.
