Assalamu Alaikum   I could not read the entire write-up as it is too long but one thing that I know definitely is that Late Maulana Maudoodi [RA] was a confirmed "Reformist [Mujaddid] of his time. He fought all the evils [Munkarat] of his time valiantly and struggled his utmost to establish Ma'roof. He established an Islamic Movement for the establishment of Allah's Deen he changed the life of millions of people around the world, giving them an untiring urge to present and propagate Islam as the only way of life and be its model. The struggle is still on and one day the Islamic system of life may become a reality    He did this tremendous job in his life time as "Da'ee Ilallah", the job that even thousands and thousands of the so-called "qualified" scholars/Ulma from Deeni Madrassas could not do even in centuries together. If any body denies this "open-day-light" contribution of Maulana Merhoom, he must be" blind, deaf & dumb" as Qur'an declares [Ref: Verse 18 of Surah Al-Baqarah]   Shamim Siddiqi
