GEORGE W Bush shows all the signs of being a paranoid schizophrenic, a
leading psychiatrist claims today.
Prof Justin Frank said the president is a danger to the world because
he actually believes he is all-powerful and beyond the law.
His book Bush on the Couch, written after studying his medical records
and behaviour, argues that the US leader has a condition common in
schizophrenics - megalomania. He thinks the condition could drive him
to invent then destroy enemies to demonstrate his power.
Prof Frank said: The defining characteristic of megalomania is the
need, driven by internal fear of persecution, to pinpoint then
annihilate all persecutors perceived as outside threats.
The psychiatrist at George Washington University in Washington DC
said: Behind Bush's affable exterior operates a powerful but obscure
delusional system that drives his behaviour.
He blames his mental state on his untreated alcoholism as a youth, his
fundamentalist religious beliefs and his love-hate relationship with
his former president dad George Bush senior.
Prof Frank said it had created an individual living in his own inner
world largely untroubled by external reality. Psychologist Oliver
James said: Frank leads us to the conclusion that the most powerful
man in the world is only a short skip away from being completely mad.
The White House wouldn't comment saying: We don't do book reviews.
Bush, who was meeting Chinese president Hu Jintao yesterday, has said
in the past: I don't spend a lot of time trying to figure me out. I'm
not into psychobabble.

Bowman worked secretly for the US government on the Star Wars project and was the first to coin the very term in a 1977 secret memo. After Bowman realized that the program was only ever intended to be used as an aggressive and not defensive tool, as part of a plan to initiate a nuclear war with the Soviets, he left the program and campaigned against it. In an interview with The Alex Jones Show aired nationally on the GCN Radio Network, Bowman (pictured below) stated that at the bare minimum if Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda were involved in 9/11 then the government stood down and allowed the attacks to happen. He said it is plausible that the entire chain of military command were unaware of what was taking place and were used as tools by the people pulling the strings behind the attack. Bowman outlined how the drills on the morning of 9/11 that simulated planes crashing into buildings on the east coast were used as a cover to dupe unwitting air defense personnel into not responding quickly enough to stop the attack. "The exercises that went on that morning simulating the exact kind of thing that was happening so confused the people in the FAA and NORADthat they didn't they didn't know what was real and what was part of the exercise," said Bowman. "I think the people who planned and carried out those exercises, they're the ones that should be the object of investigation." Asked if he could name a prime suspect who was the likely architect behind the attacks, Bowman stated, "If I had to narrow it down to one personI think my prime suspect would be Dick Cheney." Bowman said that privately his military fighter pilot peers and colleagues did not disagree with his sentiments about the real story behind 9/11. Bowman agreed that the US was in danger of slipping into a dictatorship and stated, "I think there's been nothing closer to fascism than what we've seen lately from this government." Bowman slammed the Patriot Act as having, "Done more to destroy the rights of Americans than all of our enemies combined." 1. Before standing up for Prayer, try to deal with all the minor urgent matters which demand your attention. If you are pressed by hunger, eat first; if you are pressed to attend to the call of nature, relieve yourself; if you are the parent of an infant, feed him or her, or keep him or her busy.
2. Perform your wudu' (ablution) well, paying due care and attention. 3. Approach the Prayer with zest and passion as if it is the most important task in your life. Actually the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that we could do nothing in this world that could ever surpass Prayer in merit and excellence.
4. Visualize that in your Prayer you are going to have a special audience with Allah, Lord of the worlds, and that you are enjoying a direct communion with Him? This in fact is true. 5. Think of the Prayer you are performing as if it were the last Prayer of your life. In fact, it could very well be the last one, since no one is given a guarantee that he would live to perform another Prayer.
6. Picture the scene of the Last Day when people will be lined up into two groups, one destined for Heaven, and another for Hell, and ask yourself where you would be placed. 7. Focus your mind on what you are reading in your Prayer.
8. If, in spite of your best efforts, your mind is still wandering, seek refuge in Allah and bring your mind back to Prayer. 9. Pray to Allah and beg Him to grant you true the joy of concentrating in your Prayer and protection against the wanderings of your mind.

Iran leader issues warning to US Ayatollah Khamenei says Iran will not heed US threats US interests around the world will be harmed if America launches an attack against Iran, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said. "The Iranian nation will respond to any blow with double the intensity," he added,
in comments reported on TV. Iran has been reported to the UN Security Council, amid Western fears Iran is seeking atomic weapons. The UN is seeking a diplomatic solution but the US has not ruled out military strikes against Iranian nuclear sites. Addressing workers in Tehran on International Labourers' Day, Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran would not heed US "threats and intimidation". "The Iranian nation and its officials are peace-seekers and the Islamic republic would not invade anybody," he added. Calls for tough action The Security Council demanded on 29 March that Iran comply with the demands of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for a "full and sustained suspension" of its uranium enrichment work. The
head of the IAEA, Mohammed ElBaradei, is expected to report back to the council at noon on 28 April. On Wednesday, the head of Iran's nuclear agency met Mr ElBaradei for 11th-hour talks before the Friday meeting. Vice-President Gholam Reza Aghazadeh, accompanied by deputy Mohammed Saidi and Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iran's ambassador to the IAEA, made no comment as they entered IAEA headquarters in Vienna. No details of the meeting have been released as yet. The US is trying to rally support from the Security Council for tougher action against Iran, including sanctions - a move currently being resisted by Russia and China. Iran insists its nuclear programme is for civilian energy purposes only. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Wednesday that Iran's "enemies"
would not be able to use the Security Council and the IAEA to punish Iran. "The illegitimate and right-nullifying decision could not get legitimacy under cover of council and the agency," he said, according to a state TV broadcast.

BE AWARE OF QADIANIS' MISINTERPRETATION OF QURAN
Deception by Any other Name
The heirs of Mirza Ghulam Qadiani's fortune are
attempting to mislead the humanity by using the name,
teachings, and images of Islam.
The Qadiani leadership's selection of the name
Ahmadiyya for their cult represents their first
attempt at deception. They do not mention the reason
behind their insistence to be called The Ahmadiyya
Movement in Islam: It is simply an attempt at
deception on their part.
Muslims know that Ahmad is one of the names of the
last prophet of Allah(SWT), Muhammad(SAW) of Arabia.
Mirza Qadianis parents named him Ghulam-Ahmad, which
means the Slave of Ahmad. Apparently, his parents were
following a very common practice by naming their son
after the last Prophet(SAW). Mirzas complete name was
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani.
According to the Indian tradition, the followers of
Mirza Qadiani are expected to call themselves Mirzais
or Qadianis to indicate a closeness to their leader.
Obviously, their selection of the middle name of their
spiritual leader is against the norm and is intended
to somehow associate the ideas of the Mirza with the
name of our beloved Prophet, Muhammad(SAW) of Arabia.
The heirs of Mirza Qadiani justify their claim by
referring to a cunning alteration of the meaning of
the Holy Quran. In his interpretation, Mirza Qadiani
claimed that the verse Whose name shall be Ahmad
[The Holy Quran, As-Saff 61:6] -- foretelling the
arrival of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) -- actually refers to
him! In fact, taking advantage of his middle name,
Mirza Ghulam and his followers have twisted the
meaning of the Holy Quran and claimed prophethood for
their leader.
Muslims everywhere are reminded to call the followers
of Mirza Qadiani solely as Qadianis. The use of the
name Ahmadi founded on deception and
misrepresentation of the Holy Quran is injustice to
Islam and following a false prophet is forbidden
(Haraam) upon the believers.

So please read this book. --- Chapter 3: Principles in the Methodology of Islamic Thought Sources of Islamic Methodology: Revelation, Reason, and the Universe 1. Wahy: If human beings follow the truth of their own accord, they will be superior and do well. But If they follow their own whims and ignore the truth, they will become corrupt and oppressive. 2. Reason: It Is reason which distinguishes between true wahy and false, between misleading lies, fabrications, and myths. Likewise, it is reason which enables humans to choose and face the consequences of the choices they make. The Muslim mind is a believing, rightly guided, and confident mind. It is not arrogant. It does not waste its time and efforts on conjecture or on matters which serve no useful purpose. The conflict between wahy and reason which emerged in the history of Islamic thought was, on the one hand, an _expression_ of political conflicts and aims and, on the other, the outcome of the confusion of pre-Islamic cultures when their tribes and peoples came to Islam. The result was that Muslim thought was pulled in two opposite directions. Historically, Muslims wasted a great deal of energy when they began to discuss matters of the unseen, theology, and philosophical sophistries having to do with issues like the divine predicates. Before the Muslim mind is qualified to establish its own social sciences, it must clarify the principles and concepts on which Islamic thought is based. The Fundamentals of Islamic Methodology and Thought: - unicity, - vicegerency, and - moral responsibility With a true understanding of unicity, the Muslim mind will find its true direction and will succeed. By playing its role as khalifah, the Muslim mind will go forth and succeed. With its integrated methodology, the Muslim mind will be positive and productive. The Basic Concepts of Islamic Methodology: If we wish to take practical steps towards reform, we must know the concepts according to which, and on the basis of whose requirements, the Muslim mind works. Among the most important of these methodological concepts are the following:1The purposeful nature of creation and existence: Muslim thought is based on belief in unicity and the principle of oneness which imply the unity of creation, life, man and reality, This oneness and this unity, in turn, imply the purpose behind creation and existence 2The objectivity of truth and relativity of circumstances: The Muslim mind is totally objective. It is not governed by whims, and it does not scorn the truth. Righteousness motivates it, and its efforts are directed towards seeking the truth in harmony with the laws of the universe. Muslims conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, with no 'asabiyah (ethnocentrism), nationalism, factionalism or sectarianism, and with none of the negative implications of oppression, tyranny, or corruption. Although reality is an objective matter, this does not imply narrow-mindedness. Man's position in reality, either as an individual or as part of a society, changes according to time and place. This means that that outlook, position and application are all relative. The way that the Muslim mind deals with reality differs in accordance with the differing needs and conditions of man. 3Freedom of decision and free will: we must understand the conditions necessary for practicing it. Freedom is a right, an attitude, and a responsibility like any other. It cannot be practiced in isolation or chaos. More than anything else, it needs to be regulated because it has the most serious bearing on man's life and the meaning of his existence. The Islamic perspective on the freedom of worship is that man is free to choose the ideology which he believes and adheres to, whether it is Islam or anything else. Man alone has the right to make this decision, and he is responsible for it. The Islamic state and society are duty- bound to guard this right, respect this decision, and guarantee that this right is upheld for every person in every land, even those outside the lands of Islam. To understand the aspects of man's free will and Islamic practice, we have to learn to distinguish between the different concepts involved. These concepts may be summarized as three dimensions: the dimension of belief, the dimension of Islamic thought, and the dimension of social behavior. Freedom of Belief: Islam clearly Insists upon freedom of belief for all human beings. Hence this freedom was the basis of all da'wah the Islamic social system, and Islam's greatest battles against the forces of oppression. The new Muslim presence in the old continent dates back sixty to seventy years, thus revealing a historically very short time period. It was only through centuries of discussion and conflicts of the other religious and ethnic minorities (Jews, Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox as well as Poles, Italians, and Portuguese migrants), that it was possible to feel at home and acquire some rights in the host country. How could the issues be resolved for Muslims in a span of only two or three generations? In the 1980s, the new visibility of Muslims stimulated misconceptions, suspicion, and at times, mutual rejection. One could say that these reciprocal tensions were a relatively normal and logical response. It was difficult to bypass this atmosphere without a pronounced dialogue and close working relationship materializing. Something which until now had been impossible, judging from the characteristics of this first generation immigrant population that had an unstable economic standing and unpredictable status that was often perceived as temporary. The first waves of Muslim immigrants were predominantly laborers from North Africa, Turkey, and Indo-Pakistan. They were mainly people of modest means and pressured by the economic climate. Their educational standing and fragile status did not permit for more than a generation to ponder the realities of living in Europe. It only would be the second and third generations who would transform the mind-set of these laborers. The former demonstrated that their presence in Europe was a reality, whereas in countries like Great Britain, ethnic and religious groups often replicated the social structure of their home country or region. Furthermore, the economic context has brought about deep social hardships, such as unemployment, rejection, alienation, violence, et cetera. These factors contributed to making the process of integration increasingly difficult and complex. It is important to note that several international events of the time had a deep impact in shaping perceptions. From the Iranian Revolution of 1979, the scandal of Salman Rushdie, to the madness of the Taliban, the attacks and violence in the Near East and the daily horror in Algeria, it is hard to say to what degree these events shaped the mentality and negative perception of Islam, a widespread phenomena in European society. We do know that these scandals fed the tensions stemming from the social crisis that Europe was undergoing with its high level of unemployment, exclusive policy, and violence. Often defined as a problem of immigration because of its urgency, these factors were enough to make it very difficult or almost next to impossible to debate the issue of the Muslim presence in Europe. One can assume that a sort of Islamaphobia had been entrenched in the minds of many according to the title of a fine study commissioned in Great Britain by Runnymede Trust in 1997.(1) This diabolized image of Muslims hindered a thoughtful evaluation of the dynamics that were sweeping across the European communities. Mentioning these points right from the start allows us to avoid dangerous curtailments which bypass a strict analysis, not taking into account the past and judging without the appropriate context. If this is how we were to measure things, then most definitely we would come to the conclusion that Islam is incompatible vis à vis European legislation. or by the same token, that it is impossible for Muslims to integrate into European society. Finally, we would be given a somewhat irreversible, conflicting, and marginalized character of the Muslim identity. A true analysis would take into account the realities of history and everyday life, with its energy, fluctuation, and development. These speculators operated out of the Toronto, Canada and Frankfurt, Germany, stock exchanges and their profits were specifically stated to be in the millions of dollars.Short selling of stocks involves the opportunity to gain large profits by passing shares to a friendly third party, then buying them back when the price falls. Historically, if this precedes a traumatic event, it is an indication of foreknowledge. It is widely known that the CIA uses the Promis software to routinely monitor stock trades as a possible warning sign of a terrorist attack or suspicious economic behavior. A week after the Sept.11 attacks, the London Times reported that the CIA had asked regulators for the Financial Services Authority in London to investigate the suspicious sales of millions of shares of stock just prior to the terrorist acts. It was hoped the business paper trail might lead to the terrorists. Investigators from numerous government agencies are part of a clandestine but official effort to resolve the market manipulations There has been a great deal of talk about insider trading of American stocks by certain Israeli groups both in Canada and Germany between August 26 and the Sept.11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Lynne Howard, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), stated that information about who made the trades was available immediately. "We would have been aware of any unusual activity right away. It would have been triggered by any unusual volume. There is an automated system called 'blue sheeting,' or the CBOE Market Surveillance System, that everyone in the business knows about. It provides information on the trades - the name and even the Social Security number on an account - and these surveillance systems are set up specifically to look into insider trading. The system would look at the volume, and then a real person would take over and review it, going back in time and looking at other unusual activity." Howard continued, "The system is so smart that even if there is a news event that triggers a market event it can go back in time, and even the parameters can be changed depending on what is being looked at. It's a very clever system and it is instantaneous. Even with the system, though, we have very experienced and savvy staff in our market-regulations area who are always looking for things that might be unusual. They're trained to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Even if it's offshore, it might take a little longer, but all offshore accounts have to go through U.S. member firms - members of the CBOE - and it is easily and quickly identifiable who made the trades. The member firm who made the trades has to have identifiable information about the client under the 'Know Your Customer' regulations (and we share all information with the Securities and Exchange Commission.)" Given all of this, at a minimum the CBOE and government regulators who are conducting the secret investigations have known for some time who made the options puts on a total of 38 stocks that might reasonably be anticipated to have a sharp drop in value because of an attack similar to the 9/11 episode. The silence from the investigating camps could mean several things: Either terrorists are responsible for the puts on the listed stocks or others besides terrorists had foreknowledge of the attack and used this knowledge to reap a nice financial harvest from the tragedy. Adam Hamilton of Zeal LLC, a North Dakota-based private consulting company that publishes research on markets worldwide, stated that "I heard that $22 million in profits was made on these put options..." Federal investigators are continuing to be so closed-mouthed about these stock trades, and it is clear that a much wider net has been cast, apparently looking for bigger international fish involved in dubious financial activity relating to the 9/11 attacks on the world stock markets. Just a month after the attacks the SEC sent out a list of stocks to various securities firms around the world looking for information. The list includes stocks of American, United, Continental, Northwest, Southwest and US Airways airlines, as well as Martin, Boeing, Lockheed Martin Corp., AIG, American Express Corp, American International Group, AMR Corporation, Axa SA, Bank of America Corp, Bank of New York Corp, Bank One Corp, Cigna Group, CNA Financial, Carnival Corp, Chubb Group, John Hancock Financial Services, Hercules Inc, L-3 Communications Holdings, Inc., LTV Corporation, Marsh McLennan Cos.
