- Editorial Attack On A Library By Students : Take Action Against Them A major Bangla daily has reported about attack of some persons of Chatra League ( Student League ) on a mobile library ( a library which is on a transport and moves from place to place to provide books for reading to common people without charge ) of Isami bank Foundation , a major social service organization, probably the biggest in the private sector.The news reads in part as followsQuote Chatra league workers of Alia Madrasah have attaked the mobile library of Islami Bank Foundation..Police , without taking action against them have sent the librarian of the mobile library to jail..The police has seized all books of the mobile library.DC of Police has said that as there is a comtroversy we have resorted to legal course.Sources have informes that the mobile library started opearating after its inauguaration on 15th February.The chief guest of the operation ceremony was Justice Abdur Rouf, former Justice of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.After inauguration the two mobile libraries are going from place to place and providing books and making members of those who want to read .In this process, on Monday, one mobile library went near Alia Madrasah area where some undisciplined workers of Chatra League ( student group connected with ruling government ) attacked the library .They ransacked the library, forcefully took the driver, helper and librarian to inside the Alia Madrasah hall ( students dormitory) and beat them Unquote The report also said that police came and instead of taking action the attacking student , took the driver, helper of the transport and librarian to Lalbagh police station .DC of the police said that they have some confusion , so they have decided to send the books to court. We feel that the whole thing has been mis-handled by the police.Why they did not arrest the attacking Chatra League workers? They clearly found that the place of occurance is near the Alia Madrasah and they found the three persons of the library in a hostage-likecondion in a hall of that institution. It is un-imaginable that they have sent librarian of a very small mobile library to custody .We are perturbed over the incident.Police apparently acted in a partisan manner because the attackers are from students League. We ask the government and higher police authorities and take action against the student attackers and the over-zealous police functionaries. The government should ensure that the police does not act in a partisan manner and not be cowed down by the people connected with the present regime.
Bismillah [IslamCity] Ruling on hating the Sahaabah
Undoubtedly it is a sign of great misfortune and misguidance if a person’s faith is based on slandering the companions of the best of mankind (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or arguing about the disputes that arose among them, instead of occupying himself with doing that which will benefit him in both his worldly and spiritual affairs. No one should have any reason to slander or hate or bear grudges against the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Their virtues are many, for they are the ones who supported Islam and spread the faith; they are the ones who fought the mushrikeen; they are the ones who transmitted the Qur’aan, Sunnah and rulings. They sacrificed themselves, their blood and their wealth for the sake of Allaah. Allaah chose them to be the companions of His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so no one slanders them or hates them except a hypocrite whose does not love Islam or believe in it. It was narrated that al-Bara’ (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “The Ansaar: no one loves them but a believer and no one hates them but a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allaah will love him, and whoever hates them, Allaah will hate him.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3672; Muslim, 75. If a man who hates the Ansaar cannot be a believer and that makes him a hypocrite, then how about one who hates the Ansaar and Muhaajireen and those who followed them in truth, and slanders them, curses them and denounces them and those who love them as kaafirs – as the Raafidis do? Undoubtedly they deserve more to be regarded as kaafirs and hypocrites, and of not being believers. Al-Tahhaawi said, discussing the beliefs of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah: We love the companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and we do not neglect to love any one of them, nor do we disavow any one of them. We hate those who hate them and who criticize them, and we only mention them in good terms. Loving them is part of religious commitment, faith and ihsaan, and hating them is kufr, hypocrisy and wrongdoing. Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan said: The way of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah is to love the family (ahl al-bayt) of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Naasibis love the Sahaabah but hate the family of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), hence they were called Naasibis because they set themselves up (nasb) as enemies of the family of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Raafidis are the opposite: they love the Prophet’s family (ahl al-bayt) – or so they claim, but they hate the Sahaabah, whom they curse, denounce as kaafirs and criticize. Whoever hates the Sahaabah hates Islam, because they are the bearers of Islam and the followers of the Chosen Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). So whoever hates them hates Islam, and this indicates that there is no faith in the hearts of such people and that they do not love Islam. This is an important basic principle which the Muslims should understand, namely loving and respecting the Sahaabah, because that is part of faith. Hating them or hating one of them is kufr and hypocrisy, because loving them is part of loving the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and hating them is part of hating the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Sharh al-‘Aqeedah al-Waasitiyyah. Abu Zar’ah al-Raazi said: If you see a man criticizing one of the companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then know that he is a heretic. Imam Ahmad said: If you see a man mentioning one of the companions of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a bad way, then call his Islam into question. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said: If a person slanders them in a way that does not impugn their good character or religious commitment, such as describing one of them as being stingy or cowardly or lacking in knowledge or not being an ascetic and so on, then he deserves to be rebuked and disciplined, but we do not rule him to be a kaafir because of that. This is how the words of those who were not regarded as kaafirs by the scholars are to be understood. If a person curses them and slanders them in general terms, this is an area of scholarly dispute, depending on whether this cursing is motivated by mere feelings or religious doctrines. If a person goes beyond that and claims that they apostatized after the death of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), apart from a small group of no more than ten or so individuals, or that most of them rebelled and did evil, then there is no doubt that such a person is a kaafir, because he has denied what is stated in more than one place in the Qur’aan, that Allaah was

Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, there are indeed signs for men of understanding. 191. Those who remember Allâh (always, and in prayers) standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and think deeply about the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. 192. Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers. 193. Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad SAW) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abrâr (those who are obedient to Allâh and follow strictly His Orders). 194. Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise. 195. So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female. You are (members) one of another, so those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause, and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will remit from them their evil deeds and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allâh, and with Allâh is the best of rewards. 196. Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you. 197. A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest. 198. But, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); therein are they to dwell (for ever), an entertainment from Allâh; and that which is with Allâh is the Best for AlAbrâr (those who are obedient to Allâh and follow strictly His Orders). 199. And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allâh and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allâh. They do not sell the Verses of Allâh for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allâh is Swift in account. 200. O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allâh, so that you may be successful. Comoros says Iran can set a good example for those African nations which are
seeking to safeguard their sovereignty.
Comoros wants Iran to come to her assistance and strengthen self-belief in
the country so it can go along the path to improvement, Comoro's President,
Ahmed Abdallah Sambi said on Wednesday in a meeting with his Iranian
counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
He added that even with billions of dollars of assets frozen by Washington
following Iran's Islamic Revolution in 1979, the Islamic Republic could manage
to advance and represent itself as a shining example for world nations.
A few months ago, the news of Iran sending a satellite into orbit hit
headlines worldwide and won great acclaim. The entire Iranian achievements are
anchored in attempts made by both the Iranian nation and authorities, the
Comoran leader added.
For his part, President Ahmadinejad said, Colonial powers over hundreds of
years plundered African nations and deprived them of their wealth through
coercion and deception in order to retard such nations.
He added that bullying powers sought to build their own countries with African
assets.
President Ahmadinejad meanwhile expressed Tehran's support for Comoros and
voiced Iran's preparedness to transfer its expertise in various scopes to the
African state.

D E A T H Every man has a fixed period of life given to him when he is born. We do not live longer or shorter than this fixed period of life. Soon we will be transferred from this worldly life to the graves. In it we will be alone with our deeds only. If they are good, we will be in a state of well being, and if they are not, we will be in torment until the Day of Resurrection. The DAY, when records and ledgers of deeds will be unveiled. At that time, the scales will be placed and people’s deeds will be measured. Whoever had done an atom’s weight of good shall see it, and whoever had done an atom’s weight of evil shall see it. On that DAY, the sun will descent upon people until it is only a mile away, People will be sweating according to their deeds. Some will sweat up to their ankles, some up to their knees, some up to their waists, and some will be submerged in sweat completely. On that DAY a bridge extended over Hell will be set over the Infernal Fire. It will be thinner than a strand of hair and sharper than a sword. Trust and ties of kinship will be sent forth and will stand on both sides, right and left. People will pass on it according to their deeds. Some will pass like lighting, some will pass crawling and some will be in between the fast and the slow. On that DAY people will be divided into two groups, one in Paradise and others in the Hell Fire. We still have time to re-check our faith belief since it is duty of each and every one of us to find out truth and follow it. We must check the authenticity of what we are following. Are we following the true religion or we just following the elders and religious leaders with closed eyes. We must not see the followers of any particular religion and decide rather we must see the sacred scriptures and compare it with our belief. We should take advantage of the time we have on Earth as an opportunity to prepare ourselves for death and all that comes after it. God has told us in the Holy Quran how we can decrease the horrors that come after death. Let us ask our creator O’ Allah, Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, we ask You for true repentance and to make us witness that You are ALLAH and that there is no true deity but You Alone, the Eternal. The One who begets not, nor was begotten and that there is none co-equal or comparable unto to You; You have the Majesty and Bounty, You are the Ever-Living, the Eternal Guardian. Ease for us the horrors of that Day and make us among the happy ones and join us with the righteous, O Allah, the Sustainer of all that exists show us the right path and guide us towards accepting and following the true religion ISLAM………..Ameen. I was watching the common press conference done in Cairo today between Hamas and Fatah. Sitting near me was my 13 years old son and he was curious to know what is happening. I was explaining to him what was happening lately between those Palestinian-faction-parties. He was astonished to see how much details I knew and how many people I could recognise on that panel sitting and facing the reporters. My son , asked me how I could know who is Hamas and who is Fatah ?? I replied to him that it is very elementarily simple : Those with a tie , well shaved and a nice suit above 700 Dollars are from Fatah.. and those with a beard , no tie and a cheap suit are from Hamas. My son asked me also if the the Hamas delegates used the Tunnels of Gaza , to reach Cairo, and if Fatah people flew in a private jet ?? . ( I think that in a couple of years from now, my son will start also writing) I smiled , and told him that he is starting to understand the difference between a Militant-party and a well-fed-marionettes-party. Mosque targeted with hate messages The words and symbols are hateful and chilling. Codiac RCMP are attempting to link a series of spray-painted messages, including swastikas and racist declarations, at five different Moncton locations during the last 48 hours. RCMP Cpl. Mike Gaudet said graffiti is common in Metro Moncton, but most messages are harmless messages, such as some that have popped up promoting the class of 2008. These latest examples, however, are disturbing and police are taking them seriously. We don't know if we are dealing with an organized group or an individual who has taken it upon himself to leave these terrible messages, the officer said. We're looking for anyone in the community who has more information. Someone has to step forward and tell us more. Two large swastikas and racist messages were spray-painted on the side of Moncton's two-year-old mosque on High Street. One swastika was painted in black, while the other and the message were painted in red. Why? asked worshipper Abdullah Delancey as he attempted to scrub the thick paint off the vinyl siding during yesterday afternoon's heat wave. It scares our kids. In fact, it scares a lot of our members. That's probably why I am the only one here working on this. Some of our members are afraid to come back. Other offensive messages were found during the last two days at the Tiferes Israel Synagogue on Steadman Street, the Mapleton Road Shell station and Beaverbrook School and St. Hubert restaurant, both on Mountain Road. Our criminal intelligence unit is working on these crimes and we're taking this matter very seriously, Gaudet said. Our investigation is in the preliminary stages and we are gathering as much information as we can. We're going to need some help from the community. At the mosque, Delancey, who also serves as a volunteer chaplain at The Moncton Hospital and is the father of seven and nine-year-old children, was confused by the hate crimes. It's sad because people come here to pray and it is a place of peace, the 38-year-old Monctonian said. In the past, we've had people throw rocks through the front window and now we have this. Most of the people who come here are professional people, like doctors and professors. We also have students and people from the general population. They come here to pray and worship then they go home to their families or go to work -- just like everyone else. We've always gotten along with everyone in this community. This is a place of peaceful worship and I think the people in this community like having us here. Delancey said Moncton is home to between 200 and 400 Muslims. They spent more than $400,000 two years ago to refurbish the former Foresters' Hall and build the mosque, which is open every day for prayers. It's upsetting to read these messages, he said. The nine-member human rights committee also criticised some of the UK's antiterror measures. The body, which is composed of legal experts, said it was concerned ' negative public attitudes towards Muslim members of society' continued to develop in Britain. The Government 'should take energetic measures to eliminate this phenomenon and ensure that authors of such acts of discrimination on the basis of religion are adequately deterred and sanctioned'. The committee expressed concern over the Government's plans to extend pre-trial detention of terrorist suspects from 28 to 42 days. Suspects should be brought to court 'within a reasonable period of time, or released'. Those suspected of being involved in terrorism and subject to control orders and curfews limiting their movements should be 'promptly charged with a criminal offence' and their lawyers given access to the evidence against them, it added. The committee also called on the Irish Republic to open up its largely Roman Catholic primary school system to secular-education. It said Dublin 'should take measures to help women avoid unwanted pregnancies so that they do not have to resort to illegal or unsafe abortions'. The committee made its comments in response to reports from the UK and Ireland on how they were carrying out their obligations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The committee has members from Britain, Ireland, Australia, Benin, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Mauritius and Sweden. There is no room for Western concern over Russia's nuclear cooperation with
Iran, says the head of the Rosatom State Atomic Corporation.
Sergei Kiriyenko, in a joint Wednesday press conference with head of Iran's
Atomic Energy Organization (AEO) Gholam-Reza Aqazadeh in Bushehr, addressed
Western opposition to Moscow's nuclear cooperation with Tehran.
Cooperation between Iran and Russia is based on international norms and
conventions and it should be said that nothing is being done outside the
non-proliferation framework, explained the Russian nuclear official in
response to a question by Press TV's correspondent Gisoo Misha Ahmadi.
Kiriyenko added that those who seek to make excuses to hinder the Iranian
nuclear program should lose all hope as they witness the level of progress at
the Bushehr power plant.
Russia's cooperation with Iran in building the Bushehr power plant is not
subject to any political games, he stressed.
The remarks came after Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, in an
interview with RIA Novosti, suggested the West had launched a misinformation
campaign against the Iranian nuclear program to force an end to Russia's
nuclear presence in Iran for competitive reasons.
Certain powers have sought to question the nature of Tehran-Moscow nuclear
cooperation. It should be noted that their objective is to vie with Russia for
Iran's nuclear market, Mottaki said in early February.
The West argues that Iran has sufficient oil and gas reserves for power
generation and that it therefore needs no nuclear reactors.
However, Kiriyenko said Russia believes that under the supervision of the UN
nuclear watchdog and while observing the non-proliferation rules any country
can avail itself of the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
We believe that the structure in the Bushehr plant itself is in total
conformity with the Non-Proliferation, said the Russian official.
He added that Russia's cooperation in building the Bushehr plant removes every
doubt about Iran's nuclear intentions, as the whole project is transparent in
its entirety.
Anyone who thinks this project can be used for the proliferation of nuclear
weapons can come here and see for themselves.
The start-up of the Bushehr plant is considered as a leap forward in Iran's
efforts in developing nuclear technology, which the country insists it intends
to use for peaceful purposes.
On the first day of the test run of the plant in the southwestern city of
Bushehr Aqazadeh said the power plant would become operational in nearly seven
months.
Without providing an exact timetable, the Iranian official said if the test
stage goes smoothly, the plant would become operational sooner.

He asked 'Ali (A.S.), tell me a number, that if we divide it by any number from 1-10 the answer will always come in the form of a whole number and not as a fraction.' Hazrat Ali (A.S.) Looked back at him and said, 'Take the number of days in a year and multiply it with the number of days in a week and you will have your answer.' The person got astonished but as he was a Mushrik he still didn't believe Ali (A.S.). He calculated the answer Ali (A.S.) gave him. To his amazement he came across the following results: The number of Days in a Year = 360 (in Arabic Calendar) The Number of Days in a Week = 7 The product of the two numbers = 2520 2520 divide by 1 = 2520 2520 divide by 2 = 1260 2520 divide by 3 = 840 2520 divide by 4 = 630 2520 divide by 5 = 504 2520 divide by 6 = 420 2520 divide by 7 = 360 2520 divide by 8 = 315 2520 divide by 9 = 280 2520 divide by 10= 252 *Second* One day a person came to Ali (A.S.). He was planning to ask Ali (A.S.) such a question which would take Ali (A.S.) a long time to answer and because of that his Maghrib Prayers would be delayed. He asked, 'Ali you say you know everything in the world, then tell me which animals lay eggs and which animals give birth to their young ones Hazrat Ali (A.S.) looked back at him smiled and said, 'The animals who have their 'EARS' outside their body give birth to their young ones and the animals who have their 'EARS' inside their body lay eggs.' *Third* A person was about to die, and before dying he wrote his Will which went as follows 'I have 17 Camels, and I have three sons. Divide my Camels in such a way that My eldest son gets half of them, the second one gets 1/3rd of the total and my youngest son gets 1/9th of the total number of Camels' After his death when the relatives read his will they got extremely perplexed and said to each other that how can we divide 17 camels like this? So after a long hard thought they decided that there was only one man in Arabia who could help them: 'Ali Ibne Abi Taalib.' So they all came to the door of Ali (A.S.) and put forward their problem. Hazrat Ali (A.S.) said, 'Ok. I will divide the camels as per the man's will.' He said, 'I will lend one of my camels to the total which makes it 18 (17+1=18), now lets divide as per his will' The Eldest gets 1/2 of 18 = 9 The second one gets 1/3 of 18 = 6 and The Youngest gets 1/9 of 18 = 2 Now the total number of camels = 17 Then Hazrat Ali (A.S.) said, 'Now I will take my Camel back.' This was the genius that Hazrat Ali was in his time.

(15:99) The Almighty says, Remember the Name of your Lord, and devote yourself to Him completely, (73:7) and the Almighty says, Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it (W99:8; H99:7) The Almighty says, Whatever good you send ahead for your yourselves, you will find it with Allah as something better and as a greater reward. (W73;18; H73:20) The Almighty says, Whatever good you give away, be Allah knows it. (W2:272; H2:273) 97. Ibn 'Abbas said that the Messenger of Allah, (PBUH), said, There are two blessings which deceive many people: health and free time. [al-Bukhari] 98. 'A'isha reported that the Prophet, (PBUH), used to pray at night until his feet became cracked. I said to him, 'Why do you do this. Messenger of Allah, when Allah has forgiven you all your past and future wrong actions?' He said, 'Do I not want to be a grateful slave?' [Agreed upon. This is the variant of al-Bukhari]
