42. Chapter: The excellence of dutifulness shown to the friends of one's father and mother, relatives, wife, and others whom one should honour 343. Abu Usayd Malik ibn Rabi'a as-Sa'idi said, Once while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, (PBUH), a man from the Banu Salama came up and asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, is there any devotion to my parents which I can show them after their death?' He said, 'Yes, praying for them, asking forgiveness for them, fulfilling their pledges after them, maintaining ties with relations which are only maintained through them, and honouring any friend of theirs. Bismillah [IslamCity] uk: Teachers to spy on 'suspicious' pupils radicalised by Islamic extremists
Teachers to spy on 'suspicious' pupils radicalised by Islamic extremists Teachers will carry out surveillance operations on 'suspicious' pupils amid concerns about rising extremism in the classroom. In an effort to stem the threat of terrorism in schools, the Government will publish a set of 'terror code' guidelines aimed at helping teachers identify the early signs of radical influences. 'Learning together to be safe' toolkits, which will be made available to all primary and secondary schools, aim to show how teachers can prevent pupils being influenced by extremists by challenging and exposing flaws in their arguments. The government says the kits will help fight al Qaeda and other hate or race-based prejudice. Children's Secretary Ed Balls is to ask schools to openly debate terrorism and race hate issues. Teachers will also receive advice on how to monitor a child covertly if they appear to be developing any extremist views. The scheme will extend the 'in loco parentis' powers of teachers and allow them to directly inform the police of any concerns they have over a child's views. Although ministers have repeatedly stressed that they do not believe playgrounds have become recruiting grounds for fundamentalists, teachers will be urged to report any concerns privately to police or parents. The terror code will provide a range of contacts, including social services, community workers and police officers, who will advise informers on serious concerns. It comes after suggestions that British-born imams could be brought in to talk to classes about universal rights and hate values. It is understood that original drafts of the document only mentioned Islamist extremism, but after fears it would offend Muslim groups it was amended to include far-Right organisations. http://www.dailymail.co.uk
Bismillah [IslamCity] Ahmadinejad asks Is Israel more sacred than God?
Ahmadinejad: Is Israel more sacred than God? 23 Apr 2009 The Iranian president rakes supporters of Israel over the coals, saying they hold Zionism more sacred than divine faiths and freedom of speech. They have made an idol called the Zionist regime, and they say that you can talk about anything but that, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in an address to a crowd in Islamshahr -- south of the Iranian capital Tehran. President Ahmadinejad was referring to Western inclinations toward Israel and the adoption of laws in Europe that ban criticism of the events pertinent to the Holocaust and the figures of casualties released to the public. The influence of the Zionist movement is such that US politics revolve to a large extent around the interests of the Israeli lobby even though the US image overseas is marred as a result of its support. Republican congressman Ron Paul has told Press TV that the there is no 'such thing as independent Israel doing anything', describing US support for Tel Aviv as an obstacle to the changes sought by US President Barack Obama. President Ahmadinejad on Thursday labeled support for the philosophy of Zionism as a form of modern idol worship that plagues the Western world and endangers the pursuit of justice for all. The Zionist regime wages war on a nation with white phosphorous bombs in an area of nearly 360 square kilometers but the current US administration and their mouthpieces continue to say that the Palestinians are the terrorists, he explained. They label those who are defending themselves 'terrorists' and kill them. According the Iranian president, the West has given rise to the fulfillment of Zionist objectives by creating lies about the Holocasut even they themselves have learned to hold sacred. President Ahmadinejad has questions the story behind the Holocaust and the number of Jews killed, saying academics should be allowed to conduct research on the issue. They insult the prophets of God and justify themselves with talk of 'freedom of speech'. But, when it comes to Israel, they say you are not allowed to speak a word. They want the entire world to worship their idol, Ahmadinejad continued. President Ahmadinejad recently described as 'racism' the 60-year-old Zionist quest to drive Palestinians from their land for the establishment of a purely Jewish state. http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=92345sectionid=351020101
Bismillah [IslamCity] If I Intend To Do Bad, But Didn't - Will I be Punished???
The Angels said to Allah: O Lord! There is a servant who wants to commit evil even though he is aware of it. Allah said: Watch him, if he commits evil, write it (as a bad deed) against him of equal value. And if he leaves it, write it as a good deed for he left it on account of Me. (Ahmad)
Bismillah [IslamCity] Khadija Watson's Journey of Faith
Khadija Watson's Journey of Faith She is an American from California. Her card gives you some clue: Khadija Watson, ex-professor of theology. She has a BA and an MA in theology. She was an ordained, licensed minister, a Christian missionary who spent seven years preaching in the Philippines. That was six years ago. Today she is a Muslim and a teacher at Al-Hamra Islamic Education Foundation in Jeddah. When she first visited her children in the United States in an Abaya and Hijab, they screamed, Oh Mom! You look like a terrorist! Khadija never thought in her wildest dreams that she would become a Muslim. I had no inclination toward Islam. I had been taught that Islam was satanic and demonic! What changed her mind? When she studied church history and learned that the idea of the trinity was introduced 325 years after Jesus Christ, Khadija's professors could not give her satisfactory explanations. She was also concerned that if what they taught was true, why was it making no difference to society which was growing steadily worse? While in the Philippines, where Khadija worked as a missionary and taught as a professor in two colleges, she enrolled in a German language class. There she met a Filipino, who impressed her because he was so kind and gentle. He always carried a plastic bag from which he distributed coins to the beggars in the street. He had been in Dubai and had converted to Islam. In the same classroom was a Filipina, who had been in Saudi Arabia and had converted to Islam. She was always covered. Khadija said she was shocked! I could not believe I had met two Christians in one week, who had become Muslims. Especially, a woman! I was under the impression, like so many Westerners, that Islam considered women second-class citizens and that their husbands locked them up and beat them! The Filipina told Khadija about the beauty of Islam and how it was a liberator of women and a protector of women's rights. Khadija realized that women were actually more abused in the West. In the United States, every four minutes a woman is beaten by her spouse or partner so badly that she needs to go to the emergency room. In the UK, the same thing happens every two minutes. These statistics are based on reported cases only! Khadija felt a stirring in her heart. Could she have been wrong about Islam? The Filipina suggested that Khadija visit the Islamic Center. I prayed and asked the Lord to show me if Islam was wrong. Then I went to the Islamic Center. Their approach shocked me. As a missionary, I was familiar with many evangelical strategies and methods. These Muslims used nothing. There was no harassment, no psychological manipulation and no subliminal suggestion. They simply gave me some books and told me they would answer any questions I had. It was the first time Khadija had read books about Islam written by Muslims. She was surprised to find Allah is One, the Sustainer, the Merciful, the Ever-Present! There was no go-between, no priest. I went back to the Islamic Center the very next day and guess what? Khadija said, resorting to her wonderful sense of humour. They gave me more books! After many hours of reading and over 15 discussions, Khadija was convinced of the authenticity of the Holy Qur'an. The Bible has more than 66 books, 40 authors and was written in several different languages. The Holy Qur'an has not changed as the Bible has. She became a Muslim and chose the name Khadija. Because, like Khadija, I was a widow. I embraced Islam at about the same age as she was when she converted. I also have nine children as she had. Khadija lost all her friends and most of her family after becoming a Muslim. My in-laws, who were from the Philippines, and had a very warm relationship with me even after my husband died, totally shunned me. My children who were good Christians because I had worked hard on them, had emergency meeting on how to bring mom back to her senses! Khadija's 18-year-old son, however, became a Muslim. Something I could not believe. He was into music and dating and was not ready for any kind of religion. I used to leave books for him to read, but I found them untouched. But I prayed a lot for him - and all my children - to become Muslim. Later, when he converted to Islam, he confessed that he had read all the books and kept me from knowing. He was the one who went to Makkah first. When he came back, he told me excitedly, 'Mom, you will love Saudi Arabia. All the women dress like you! Bismillah [IslamCity] RRIYADHU-US-SALEHEEN:Chap. 41: On the Prohibation of Disobeying Parents
41. Chapter: On The Prohibition Of Disobeying Parents And Severing Ties Of Kinship Allah Almighty says, Is it not likely that, if you did turn away, you would cause corruption in the earth and sever your ties of kinship? Such are the people Allah has cursed making them deaf and blinding their eyes. (W47:23-24; 47:22-23) The Almighty says, But as for those who break Allah's contract after it has been agreed and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined, and cause corruption in the earth, the curse will be upon them. They will have the Evil Abode. (W13:26; H13:25) and the Almighty says, Your Lord has decreed: that you should worship none but Him, and that you should show kindness to your parents, whether one or both of them reach old age with you. So do not say 'Ugh!' to them out of irritation and do not be harsh with them but speak to them with gentleness and generosity. Lower to them, out of mercy, the wing of humility and say: 'Lord, show mercy to them as they did in looking after me when I was small.' (17:23-24) 338. Abu 'Abdullah 'Amr ibn al-'As reported that the Messenger of Allah, (PBUH), said, One of the major wrong actions is for a man to abuse his parents. They asked, O Messenger of Allah, is it possible for a man to abuse his parents? He replied, Yes. He may curse a another man's father who in turn curses his father, and curse his mother and he in turn curses his mother. [Agreed upon] In one variant, One of the worst major wrong actions is for a man to curse his parents. It was said, O Messenger of Allah, how can a man curse his parents? He said, He may curse another man's father who in turn curses his father, and curse his mother and he in turn curses his mother. 340. Abu 'Isa al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba reported that the Prophet, (PBUH), said, Allah Almighty has forbidden you to disobey your mothers, to deny others what is rightfully theirs or demand what is not rightfully yours, and to bury your daughters alive and He dislikes you engaging in chit-chat, asking too many questions and wasting money. Bismillah [IslamCity] Qur'an Wins Heart of US Professor
Qur'an Wins Heart of US Professor Dr. Jeffrey Lang is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the University of Kansas, one of the biggest universities in the United States. He started his religious journey on Jan 30, 1954, when he was born in a Roman Catholic family in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The first 18 years of his life were spent in Catholic schools, which left him with many unanswered questions about God and the Christian religion, Lang said, as he narrated his story of Islam. Like most kids back in the late 60s and early 70s, I started questioning all the values that we had at those times, political, social and religious, Lang said. I rebelled against all the institutions that society held sacred including the Catholic Church, he said. By the time he reached the age of 18, Lang had become a full-fledged atheist. If there is a God, and he is all merciful and all loving, then why is there suffering on this earth? Why does not He just take us to heaven? Why create all these people to suffer? Such were the questions that came up in his mind in those days. As a young lecturer in mathematics at San Francisco University, Lang found his religion where God is finally a reality. That was shown to him by a few of the Muslim friends he had met at the university. We talked about religion. I asked them my questions, and I was really surprised by how carefully they had thought out their answers, Lang said. Dr. Lang met Mahmoud Qandeel, a regal looking Saudi student who attracted the attention of the entire class the moment he walked in. When Lang asked a question about medical research, Qandeel answered the question in perfect English and with great self assurance. Everyone knew Qandeel-the mayor, the police chief and the common people. Together the professor and the student went to all the glittering places where there was no joy or happiness, only laughter. Yet at the end Qandeel surprisingly gave him a copy of the Qur'an and some books on Islam. Lang read the Qur'an on his own, found his way to the student-run prayer hall at the university, and basically surrendered without much struggle. He was conquered by the Qur'an. The first two chapters are an account of that encounter and it is a fascinating one. Painters can make the eyes of a portrait appear to be following you from one place to another, but which author can write a scripture that anticipates your daily vicissitudes?... Each night I would formulate questions and objections and somehow discover the answer the next day. It seemed that the author was reading my ideas and writing in the appropriate lines in time for my next reading. I have met myself in its pages... Lang performs the daily five-time prayers regularly and finds much spiritual satisfaction. He finds the Fajr (pre-dawn) prayer as one of the most beautiful and moving rituals in Islam. It is as if you temporarily leave this world and communicate with the angels in singing God's praises before dawn. To the question how he finds it so captivating when the recitation of the Qur'an is in Arabic, which is totally foreign to him, he responds; Why is a baby comforted by his mother's voice? He said reading the Qur'an gave him a great deal of comfort and strength in difficult times. From there on, faith was a matter of practice for Lang's spiritual growth. On the other hand, Lang pursued a career in mathematics. He received his master's and doctoral degrees from Purdue University. Lang said that he had always been fascinated by mathematics. Maths is logical. It consists of using facts and figures to find concrete answers, Lang said. That is the way my mind works, and it is frustrating when I deal with things that do not have concrete answerers. Having a mind that accepts ideas on their factual merit makes believing in a religion difficult because most religions require acceptance by faith, he said. Islam appeals to man's reasoning, he said. As faculty advisor for the Muslim Student Association, Lang said he viewed himself as the liaison between the student and their universities. He gets approval from university authorities to hold Islamic lectures. The object of being their faculty advisor is to help them get their needs met as far as adjusting to the American culture and to procedures of the university. They appreciate the opportunity to have misconceptions corrected, he said. Lang married a Saudi Muslim woman, Raika, 12 years ago. Lang has written several Islamic books which are best sellers among the Muslim community in the US. One of his important books is Even Angels ask; A journey to Islam in America. In this book, Dr. Lang shares with his readers the many insights that have unfolded for him through his self discovery and progress within the religion of Islam. Bismillah [IslamCity] Degradation of Congress
Ramachandra Guha (INDIA) One of the forgotten heroes of Indian democracy is Kumaraswamy Kamaraj. This withdrawn, monosyllabic, self-educated man from a backward caste background was instrumental in building a base for the Congress party in South India. Later, as President of the national party, he helped mediate between different factions of the Congress. But perhaps his greatest service to his party and nation was to successfully oversee two major transitions. First, when Jawaharlal Nehru died in May 1964, he consulted the party's MPs before arriving at the conclusion that Lal Bahadur Shastri would be the best choice to take over as Prime Minister. Eighteen months later Shastri died suddenly of a heart attack. Now Kamaraj again moved swiftly to contain the damage, by helping choose Indira Gandhi as Shastri's replacement. Growing up as an only child, with a sick mother and a father frequently abroad or in jail, Indira Gandhi did not allow herself to easily trust anybody. Least of all the Congress Old Guard. Thus, the very men who had helped make her Prime Minister were the men she broke away from, soon after assuming the top job in Indian politics. In 1969 Indira Gandhi divided the Congress party. The faction that stayed with her was soon recognised as the real Congress, especially after it won an authoritative victory in the General Elections of 1971, riding to power on the backs of the slogan of 'Garibi Hatao'. To retain control over party and government, Indira Gandhi adopted four different strategies. First, she built a core of loyal advisers outside the Congress. She increasingly took her counsel not from her fellow Cabinet Ministers but from civil servants and technocrats in the Prime Minister's Office, which was headed by her fellow Allahabadi P. N. Haksar. Second, she disbanded the old, decentralised structure of the Congress - where district and state units had substantial autonomy - and placed individuals who were personally loyal to her at the head of Pradesh Congress Committees. Third, at Haksar's inspiration, she floated the idea of the 'committed' civil servant and the 'committed' judge, so that key positions in the bureaucracy and the judiciary were also now occupied by individuals known to be loyal and subservient to the Prime Minister. Fourth, at election time she appealed directly to the voters, asking them to place their trust in her as an individual rather than in her party or its programme. The dangers of Indira Gandhi's brand of politics had been anticipated by the chief draughtsman of the Indian Constitution, Dr B. R. Ambedkar. In his final speech to the Constituent Assembly, Ambedkar warned his compatriots against an unthinking submission to charismatic authority. He quoted John Stuart Mill, who had cautioned citizens not 'to lay their liberties at the feet of even a great man, or to trust him with powers which enable him to subvert their institutions'. From the time she split the Congress in 1969, Indira Gandhi worked systematically to dismantle the institutions and procedures of constitutional democracy. This she did by privileging loyalty over competence - in her party, in her Council of Ministers, in the legislative and judicial branches of government. Ministers, Congressmen, bureaucrats, judges, and in time even ordinary citizens - all were encouraged to lay their liberties at the feet of this Great Woman, the submission conveyed in the slogan 'Indira is India, India is Indira'. It is important to note that this undermining of democratic institutions was well under way before the imposition of the Emergency in 1975. By suppressing freedom of expression and jailing opposition politicians, the emergency completed a process begun in the late 1960s. Shortly after its imposition, Indira Gandhi introduced a further departure from democratic functioning, by naming her second son, Sanjay, as her heir apparent. The locus of decision-making now shifted from the Prime Minister's Office to the Prime Minister's House. When Sanjay died in an air crash in 1980, Mrs Gandhi immediately drafted her other son into the Congress party. When she was herself killed in October 1984, this son, Rajiv, was sworn in as Prime Minister. One of his first acts was to bring his old school friends into politics. Like his mother, he could not bring himself to trust his own party men. While promoting his friends, he behaved arrogantly towards senior leaders of the Congress, and towards senior bureaucrats. Jawaharlal Nehru did not hope or desire that his daughter should succeed him as Prime Minister - a fact that is not as widely known as it should be. On the other hand, Indira Gandhi worked to make first Sanjay and then Rajiv her political successor. Sonia Gandhi has followed her mother-in-law scrupulously in this respect, for she has likewise ensured that her own son would head the party, and, perhaps in time, the government. The example set by India's greatest political party has been followed by

Bismillah [IslamCity] Jewish American Converts to Islam
Jewish American Converts to Islam Joseph Cohen moved from the United States to Israel as a devout Jew in 1998, but within three years he had converted to Islam and become Yosef Mohammed Khatib, a supporter of the militant Hamas, according to a report broadcast Thursday on Israel TV. Now he refuses to say the word Israel, choosing instead to call the area Palestine. His four children study the Quran, the Muslim holy book, instead of the Torah, its Jewish counterpart. It was while living in the desert town of Netivot that Khatib met a sheik from the United Arab Emirates through an Internet chat about Israel. Khatib said he spent hours corresponding with the sheik, discussing theology. Gradually he began to see Judaism as racist and turned toward Islam after reading the Quran, he told Channel 10 TV. The report did not say where he lived in the United States or give his age. Last year he told his wife, Luna, also a devout Jew from the United States, that he wanted to convert to Islam. I said, `Listen, I love you very much ... and I have to be honest with you,' Khatib said in the TV interview. I read the Quran and I agree with everything it says in the Quran, and if I continue saying that I'm a religious Jew, I would be a liar. The family converted together and moved from Netivot to an Arab neighborhood in east Jerusalem. The children went from being top in their classes on Judaism studies to being well-versed in Islam, he said. Instead of supporting the Israeli Orthodox Jewish political party Shas, Khatib now supports the radical Islamic Hamas and believes an Islamic state should be set up where Israel and the Palestinian areas are now located. He praised Hamas for setting up social services for Palestinians but dodged questions about the other side of the Islamic group - suicide bombings and other attacks against Israelis. The United States has declared Hamas a terror group. Khatib differed from most Israelis and Americans in his views about Osama bin Laden, the top suspect in the Sept. 11 terror attacks in New York and Washington. I think that he's number one, Muslim number one, Khatib said with a strong New York accent about bin Laden. But I don't think that he's responsible for the World Trade Center (attacks). Wearing the white skullcap and robes of a religious Muslim, Khatib denied his Jewish past, insisting that he is 100 percent Muslim. He made a parody of a blessing that observant Jews say every morning, in which they thank God for not making them gentiles. Blessed are Thou, Lord Our God, Khatib began in the traditional Jewish blessing, but ended it with, for not making me a Jew. A woman of strong character Adil Salahi | Arab News Hafsah (RA) was the only one among the Prophet's wives who was divorced by the Prophet (peace be upon him). There are several reports suggesting the reason for the divorce, but none of them carries much weight so as to be more probable. It is perhaps better to say that the main reason was Hafsah's own character, while one or the other of these suggested reasons triggered the Prophet's action. She was a woman of strong character, bold and self-assured. When the Prophet divorced her, she was extremely sad. However, it was her father who felt the divorce to be his own personal catastrophe. He threw dust over his own head and lamented: Why will Allah care for Umar and his daughter now that she is divorced? However, the divorce did not last long. The angel Gabriel came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) with this order: God commands you to take Hafsah back, as a kindness to Umar (r). Another report suggests that Gabriel said: Allah commands you to take Hafsah back, for she is a highly devoted servant of Allah and she is your wife in heaven. Needless to say, the Prophet (peace be upon him) immediately carried out Allah's order and Hafsah (RA) was back as one of the Prophet's wives, the mothers of all believers. We should reflect a little on these two reports. The first tells us that Allah Almighty sent His angel with the command that the Prophet (peace be upon him) should take back his divorced wife in kindness to her father. Allah knew that Umar would spend the rest of his life in sorrow, should the divorce be made permanent. He felt that the great love he felt toward the Prophet (peace be upon him) was cemented by this marriage. Now that the marital bond was severed, he felt lost, uncared for by Allah or His messenger. Hence, his lamentation. The other report mentions the virtues of Hafsah (RA) and her dedication to the cause of Islam and continuous devotion. She was a woman worthy of being a wife of Allah's messenger and a mother of all believers. Hence Gabriel tells the Prophet (peace be upon him) that she will be among his wives in heaven. The two reports are not mutually exclusive. In fact both could be true. The angel might have said both statements when he brought to the Prophet (peace be upon him), Allah's command to reinstate his marriage to Hafsah (RA). When the Prophet (peace be upon him) had several wives, mutual jealousy was inevitable. We need to remember that none of them thought that it was wrong for a man to marry more than one wife. Polygamy was the normal practice in Arabia and many other parts of the world. Islam simply restricted it, allowing a man no more than four wives at the same time. The Prophet (peace be upon him), however, had an exemption because of his special status and the needs of his message. May Allah be pleased with all the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Bismillah [IslamCity] My mother rights over me, My rights over her
My mother rights over me, My rights over her, and the extent of my Independence 1 - The mothers rights over her child The mother has many major rights over her child. These rights are innumerable, but we may mention the following: (a) Love and respect, as much as possible, because she is the most deserving of people of her son's good companionship. Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: A man came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said, 'O Messenger of Allaah, who among the people is most deserving of my good companionship?' He said, 'Your mother.' The man asked, 'Then who?' He said, 'Your mother.' He asked, then who?' He said, 'Your mother.' He asked, 'Then who?' He said, 'Your father.' She is the one who made her womb a vessel for you and nourished you from her breast. You have no option but to love her. The fitrah (natural inclination of man) calls you to love her. Love between mothers and children and children and mothers is something that Allaah has instilled even in animals, so it is even more befitting for the children of human beings, and for Muslims in particular. (b) Taking care of her and looking after her affairs if she needs that; this is a debt that rests on the child's shoulders. Did she not take care of him when he was a child and stay up with him at night and bear it all with patience ? Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship. And she brings him forth with hardship. [al-Ahqaaf 46:15] This even take precedence over jihaad if there is a conflict between the two. Abd-Allaah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas (may Allaah be pleased with them both) said: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and asked him for permission to participate in jihaad. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him, 'Are your parents alive?' He said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Then your jihaad is with them.' (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2842; Muslim, 2549) (c) Not offending them or saying or doing anything that they dislike. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): say not to them a word of disrespect [al-Israa' 17:23] If Allaah has forbidden us even to say uff [paraphrased as a word of disrespect in the translation of the meaning of the aayah] to our parents, then how about someone who hits them?! (d) Spending on her if she is in need and does not have a husband who can spend on her or if her husband is poor; for the righteous, spending on ones mother and feeding her is more precious than feeding their own children. Ibn Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Three men went out walking and rain began to fall on them. They entered a cave in a mountain, then a rock fell (blocking the entrance to the cave). They said to one another, Pray to Allaah by virtue of the best deeds that you have done. One of them said, O Allaah, my parents were elderly and I used to go out and tend to my flocks, then I would milk them and bring the milk to my parents for them to drink from it, then I would give some to my children. One night I came home late and found them sleeping. I did not want to wake them, and the children were crying at my feet. I kept waiting and the children kept crying until dawn broke. O Allaah, if You knew that I did that for Your sake, then open a way for us through which we can see the sky. So a way was opened for them. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2102; Muslim, 2743). (e) Obeying her when she tells you to do something good. But if she tells you to do something bad, such as shirk, then there should be no obedience to any created being if it involves disobedience to the Creator. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not; but behave with them in the world kindly [Luqmaan 31:15] (f) After ones mother dies, it is Sunnah to fulfil any vows that she had made, and to give charity and perform Hajj and Umrah on her behalf. It was reported from Ibn Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with them both) that a woman from Juhaynah came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: My mother vowed to go for Hajj, but she died before she did so. Can I perform Hajj on her behalf? He said, Yes, perform Hajj on her behalf. Do you not think that if your mother owed a debt that you would pay it off for her? Fulfil her debt to Allaah, for Allaah is more deserving that what is owed to Him should be paid. (narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1754). (g) After she dies, it is also Sunnah to honor her by maintaining ties with those whom she used to keep in touch with, such as her relatives and friends. It was narrated from

SOME STUDY ABOUT AHADITH – PART 5. In the name of Allah: the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. 65: He has power to send torment on you from above or from under your feet, or TO COVER YOU WITH CONFUSION IN PARTY STRIFE, AND MAKE YOU TO TASTE THE VIOLENCE OF ONE ANOTHER – Al-Anam 115: AND WHOEVER CONTRADICTS AND OPPOSES THE MESSENGER (MUHAMMAD-pbuh) AFTER THE RIGH PATH HAS BEEN SHOWN CLEARLY TO HIM, AND FOLLOWS OTHER THAN BELIEVERS’ WAY, WE SHALL KEEP HIM IN THE PATH HE HAS CHOSEN, AND BURN HIM IN HELL – WHAT AN EVIL DESTINATION- An-Nisa 150: Verily, who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers and WISH TO MAKE DISTINCTION BETWEEN ALLAH AND HIS MESSENGERS {BY BELIEVING IN ALLAH AND DISBELIEVING (DISCARDING SUNNAH) IN HIS MESSENGRS} SAYING “WE BELIEVE IN SOME (REVEALED MESSAGES- E.G. HOLY QUR’AN) BUT REJECT OTHERS (ADADITH + SEERAT)” AND WISH TO ADOPT A WAY IN BETWEEN. An-Nisa 151: THEY ARE IN TRUTH (means in Fact) DISBELIEVERS. AND WE HAVE PREPARED FOR THE DISBELIEVERS A HUMILIATING TORMENT We have now to see, how the Sahih Al- Ahadith were preserved and passed over to next generations till coming to us. The above quoted meanings/interpretations of the Noble Qur’an are enough for the Believer to ask Allah s.w.t if he has misbehaved with the importance of Ahidith “ to forgive him and show him the straight path”. Now we study the meanings/interpretations of some Ahadith Relevant to subject: “WHOEVER TOLD LIE ON ME OR ON MY BEHALF – HE MUST MAKE HIS (LAST) ABODE IN HELL FIRE.” This is a very Famous Hadith you can find it in many books to day also, one of the first lessons to the students of hadith is this Hadith. AT NIGHT, THE STUDY OF KNOWLEDGE (AL-QUR’AN + SUNNAH), FOR SOME TIME! IS BETTER THEN INDIVIDUAL WORSHIP FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT? ANYBODY, TO WHOM WHEN REQUESTED FOR IMPARTING HIS KNOWLEDGE, (OFCOURSE WHICH HE POSSESSED) MUST IMPART OTHERWISE HE MUST KNOW HE WILL BE ACCORDED FIRE REIGN. TO CONCEAL KNOWLEDGE IS GREAT SIN THE PERSON WHO KNEW THAT, WHICH IF HE HAD IMPARTED WITH OTHERS, COULD BENEFIT COMMUNITY AND HE CONCEALED IT WILL BE RAISED ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION WITH FIRE REIGN IN HIS MOUTH. Next we will study the Ways and Means of Preserving Shih Ahadith.
Bismillah [IslamCity] North Korea is next.......
Prince Al Waleed offered 50 millions Dollars for New York it was rejected !! When the twin-towers in New York blew down the suspects were Saudi-Egyptian-Yemeni and Lebanese And yet , Afghanistan was bombed and invaded. When , Iraq was accused of Weapons of Mass-Destruction those weapons were actually in Israel and in Pakistan, too. And yet , Iraq was invaded and occupied . All those theories and all the accusations regarding New-York's 911 and even all the suspicions remained baseless , to say the least and never did anyone point the finger at Israel. (the biggest beneficiary) It is rather good that Israel was never suspected nor found guilty. otherwise the USA would have ,consequently , bombed North Korea !! . Eng.
