*As Salaamu Alaikum,* We have been offered a chance to house more Muslim women and children in dignity. The offer comes from one who had to use our services in 1999. This just proves to me that Allah rewards those who just stand firm in Allah's word and perservere. Many of you have helped us do just that survive. *The sister who is making this offer stayed with us when we first started. She was so frightened when she came to us she cried almost everyday for a week. She had been referred to us by a Muslim who was afraid for her life. She was not Muslim. Later she became Muslim (while with us) no pressure from us. Fast forward 10 years later she is doing well and now can offer some of her blessings * *to us. The offers comes with a House Management person and part-time social worker. No utlities to cut on, no furniture to buy, etc. We are being asked to raise the $750 per month to pay our new landlord. You can't ask for better. Help us get into this house. The Baitul Salaam Network, Inc. has opened an outreach office inside the Risala Institute located at 675 Village Square Dr., Stone Mountain, GA 30021. Our hours are Mondays 10 am- 2 pm, Tuesdays 10 am- 6 pm, Wednesdays 10 am- 2pm, Thursdays 10 am- 2 pm. Our phone number is (404) 608-8649 available Monday-Thursday 7 am- 10 am and 7 pm- 11 pm. We do not have a phone at the outreach office yet. Services offered are referrals for medical (to include Mental Health/Psychiatric), job/career, emergency assistance (limited amounts of food, money for utilities, personal care items), assistance with emergency and transitional housing (through shelters and private home owners). We will host Support Groups on various issues (self-esteem, Urban Survival 101, Safety Planning, obtaining Orders of Protection/Restraining Orders and other legal measures, Nutrition Classes, Starting a Home Business), etc. Our services at this time are free (through a small grant from Verizon Wireless). world. We complain that only the stereotypes about Muslim women are in
the media. Well this news in not stereotypical. At least one Muslim

{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom
(i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue
with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone
astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.}

{And who is better in speech than he who [says: My Lord is Allah (believes in
His Oneness), and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites
(men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: I
am one of the Muslims.} (Holy Quran-41:33)
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: By Allah, if
Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of
camels. [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, Whoever
calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who
follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all.
