As a matter of Internet efficiency and etiquette , please use a personal address in the "to" or "cc" field when corresponding directly to an individual. When responding to an individual, via a forum, the individual may or may not be a member of the forum, and/or the post may be overlooked among the other forum posts, so the communication effort may have failed, with the false belief that it was successful. When the personal id is used, the individual gets an individual email in their in box, with the personal address of the one who sent it. This way is much more direct and efficient. And the use of a name with an email address is always a plus.
