Moussa warns against attack on IRI

         11:15:50 Þ.Ù

Arab
League Secretary-General Amr Moussa warned against consequences of any
kind of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 In
response to a question by Euronews anchor in an exclusive interview
about possible air raid of America or the Zionist regime on Iran's
nuclear installations, Moussa said if it happened, the whole region
would turn into a real hell.

 "I had already predicted that
attak on Iraq would open doors of the hell and it came true and now I
tell you that if it happened for Iran, the whole region would turn into
a real hell," the Arab League Chief stated.

mkIran may reveal more of its military might

                            Iran's President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

                    Iranian
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the country's recent missile tests
have provided 'a mere glimpse into Iran's military might'.

Following a Sunday cabinet session in Tehran, President Ahmadinejad
said the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) would demonstrate more
of Iran's military capabilities 'if necessary'.

The IRGC concluded an extensive military exercise on Sunday in response to
recent threats from the US and Israel.

During the military exercise, Iran test-fired new long- and
medium-range missiles, including the upgraded Shahab 3 missile equipped
with a one-ton conventional warhead and capable of hitting targets
within a 2,000-kilometer range.

"The maneuvers demonstrated Iran's military strength and exposed
the enemy's inability in attacking our country," Ahmadinejad continued.

"In the future, they will see that our defense capabilities are
hundreds of times more than what was demonstrated in the recent
maneuver," he added.

The president's remarks came a day after a senior Iranian official
said that Tehran would respond by striking Israel and 32 US bases in
the region if the country comes under attack over its uranium
enrichment program.

Tehran insists its nuclear program is directed at electricity
generation in line with the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). The
most recent UN nuclear watchdog report concluded that there is no link
between the use of nuclear material and the 'alleged studies' of
weaponization attributed to Iran by Western countries.

Washington and Tel Aviv, however, continue to beat the drums of war
against Iran over its nuclear program, accusing the country of
developing a nuclear bomb.

Tel Aviv reportedly staged a military maneuver in early June in
preparation for a unilateral air strike on Iranian nuclear sites and
Israeli attempts to prod Washington into a war with Tehran.

Ahmadinejad has dismissed the threat of war as a 'silly joke',
warning that a military strike on Iran would be 'political suicide' for
US President George W. Bush.

"I assure you that there won't be any war in the future," he said Tuesday
during a visit to Malaysia.
