William Newman created MRELEASE-788: ---------------------------------------
Summary: Cannot release multi-module project that is checked out from different svn repositories Key: MRELEASE-788 URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MRELEASE-788 Project: Maven 2.x Release Plugin Issue Type: Bug Components: prepare Affects Versions: 2.3.2 Reporter: William Newman I have a multi module project that covers 2 svn repositories: svn/repo1/personal/test/(trunk/branches/tags) svn/repo2/personal/test/(trunk/branches/tags) from repo1: --> pom.xml (main pom) ----> module 1 ----> pom.xml (module 1 pom, child of main pom) from repo2: --> pom.xml (module 3 child of main) ---->module 2 ----> pom.xml (module 2 pom, child of main pom) The main pom in repo1 will build itself and its children: module 1 (lives in repo1), and module 2 (lives in repo2), and module 3 (lives in repo2) I have attempted to override some of the maven-release-plugin configuration (mainly scm config) in the repo2 pom file(s) with no success. Even when running prepare goal with -DdryRun=true, only one release.properties file is generated in the repo1 location. With no of release.properties file pointing to repo2 I cannot see how this would work. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
