             Project: Maven 2.x Deploy Plugin
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: deploy:deploy
    Affects Versions: 2.6
            Reporter: Gayathri Muralidharan
            Priority: Minor

Hi,

Currently it is possible to skip certain modules during deployment by setting
the config in the pom file.
( <skip> true </skip> )

Wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to mention this via command line like
-Dmaven.deploy.skip= modules-to-be-skipped or something so that frequent
changes to pom files are not required and this can be specified/modified easily
from hudson?

Please correct me if this is already supported or if i am missing something
here :)

Thanks,
Gayathri
