This was mentioned by Fabrizio in MNG-1530. He was unable to do it at the time
because of MNG-1436, but this has later been made possible by MAVENUPLOAD-583.
The attached patch does this:
- adds a dependency on maven-model-v3
- removes the package "org.apache.maven.model" and everything under it from
this plugin
- adds some ignore props on the root directory
