ivankudibal commented on issue #2743: NIFI-5226: Implement a Record API based PutInfluxDB processor URL: https://github.com/apache/nifi/pull/2743#issuecomment-455316972 We will create the independent repo with influxdata nar, builds, examples and other docs for Nifi users. This gives us greater flexibility. Thank you @joewitt . This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service. ivankudibal commented on issue #2743: NIFI-5226: Implement a Record API based PutInfluxDB processor URL: https://github.com/apache/nifi/pull/2743#issuecomment-453654837 @joewitt : To address the second paragraph: Bonitoo is Influxdata's partner and contractor. See https://www.influxdata.com/partners/bonitoo/ . Bonitoo company signed corporate CLA with Apache before the contribution to Nifi. I created the "bonitoo 4 influxdata engineering" account to communicate the issue. @bednar is member of Bonitoo. Influxdata has invested resources in having processors. We do maintain the PR so that can be merged easily. There is user documentation with demoable examples - both are ready to be published at docs.influxdata.com after this PR becomes merged. We can also create separate repo and distirbute nar independently on Nifi, however may this increase unecessary configuration effort on the end user?
