# Summary [NIFI-9206](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-9206) add the `RemoveRecordField` processor to allow for remove of Record Field(s) from FlowFile content using RecordPath specification similar to `UpdateRecord`. Caters for simple as well as complex, nested, collection and choice `DataFieldType`s.
