On reading the attached ORC file which contains null value in nested field, 
there is such exception:

The issue only happens in branch-2.4. There is no such issue on the latest 
master branch.

I also tried printing the file schema from the ORC reader in OrcFileFormat:

The difference is about the ORC reader, orc-mapreduce-1.5.5-nohive and 
orc-mapreduce-1.5.9
I simply tried upgrade orc-mapreduce-1.5.5-nohive to orc-mapreduce-1.5.9-nohive 
and it doesn't fix the problem.
Is there any way to fix this in branch-2.4?
