rawlinp opened a new pull request #2247: Add an Origin API URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-trafficcontrol/pull/2247 Origins are associated to delivery services and contain all origin-specific data that is currently being used in the deliveryservice (org_server_fqdn) and server tables (for multi-site origins) as well as Coordinate data for geolocation-based routing. The plan is to use this for Geolocation-based Client Steering, refactoring the MSO implementation so that the server table is no longer confounded with origins, and refactoring the DS API to make use of this new origin table for the orgServerFqdn field (not necessarily in that order).
