It has been fixed with 
https://github.com/apache/karaf-decanter/commit/152f602d2487818694d55e0792ed79b9f2d5dd2a

The problem was in {{DEBUG}} log level, the Decanter appenders was sending log 
events trapped by the collector, creating kind of infinite loop.
