hbeatty opened a new issue #1997: Cannot change a profile to a different CDN when servers are assigned to profile URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-trafficcontrol/issues/1997 There has been a catch-22 created between profiles and servers. I need to update a profile to the "ALL" CDN, but can't because there are servers associated with that profile that are not in the "ALL" CDN. I also can't change the server to the "ALL" CDN because the profile isn't associated with the "ALL" CDN. Slack conversation: Hank Beatty [1:24 PM] @neuman What do you think about putting up a message box with the servers listed and changing both the servers and profile at the same time? or vice versa? (edited) Dave Neuman [1:31 PM] I guess as a workaround you could create a different profile, assign all of your servers to that profile, then make your profile change, and assign them all back However, I think if we change the CDN of a profile we should pop-up a box saying "This will change the CDN of the following servers as well" or something like that Hank Beatty [1:32 PM] Yes. With a "continue" and "cancel" button.
