I'm happy user of mbysnc which is server along with mu4e mail client.
Spam & virus filtering is done by my ISP, but still there are spam messages
which goes through so I'd like to do some more filtering with my trained
bogofilter.

Hmm, it's not clear to me. I certainly want to sync my localhost
Maildir/inbox with the remote IMAP's server INBOX.
