*Job Title : C++ Programmer Location : Broomfield, CODuration : 6+Months Contract* Sr. C++ / Java Programmer with RDK or OCAP experience. If no RDK or OCAP, may consider if s strong socket or protocol (such as TR-069, SNMP, DOCSIS, TCP/IP, Ipv4/IPv6, DHCP, etc.) looking for software integration engineers to work on the next generation of connected media device solutions. We are especially looking for engineers with knowledge of embedded Linux, QT WebKit, GStreamer, D-BUS, OpenGL ES and TR-069. Development background in Native C/C++ and/or Java is expected. *Duties:* Understand and contribute to the architectural design for software clients running on embedded devices. Advanced level software engineering and integration of embedded device software modules, including client-server application architectures. Conduct software component evaluation and verification against the set of functional and technical requirements Travel to customer locations for integration efforts; work with local and off-shore teams Attend meetings to communicate progress and work on issue resolution. *Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:* Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows operating systems. Working knowledge of message bus architectures like D-BUS. Working knowledge of device management protocols such as TR-069, SNMP and DOCSIS. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ipv4/IPv6, DHCP, etc. Working knowledge of open source components such as GStreamer, QT WebKit, DirectFB, Dropbear, Google Breakpad Knowledge of the development, build, and automated software deployment life cycle Knowledge of build process and ability to diagnose and fix it Understand shell scripting on Unix and/or Windows Understand basic Makefiles and Ant scripting for automation tasks; deployment, remote execution of commands Experience with and knowledge of C++ Coordinate with external project teams and resources as needed. Communicate progress and issues as required.
