*Mandatory Technical Skills:*
7+ years of IT experience
*3 years of experience in Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007*
Experience with implementing and tuning of Management Packs including
Active Directory, Exchange, Cluster Failover Manager, SharePoint, MS SQL,
IIS, and Base OS
Experience with developing custom Management Packs for custom developed
applications and Commercial off the Shelf applications (COTS)
Experience at PERL, VB, and PowerShell
Experience with Reporting features and developing custom reports System
Center Operations Manager
Excellent troubleshooting skills
*Desirable Technical Skills:*
Experience with Systems Center Operations Manager 2012
Experience with System Center Orchestrator
Experience with the HP OpenView suite of Monitoring tools
Working experience with Linux, Solaria and HPUX operating systems to
include but not limited to:
o Shell and perl scripting, both reading and
writing
o Tracing processes, memory and performance
issues
o Installation and removal of software
o Use of command line editors like vi or vim
At least 2 years' administrative experience with OpenView for Linux (OMLi)
o Creating, editing and deploying OpenView
policies
o Installing and troubleshooting OpenView
agents on UNIX and Windows platforms
o Experience with OpenView Smart Plugin for
Databases (Oracle, Sybase)
