*Job Title: SQL Server*

*LOCATION: STAMFORD, CT*

*MUST to have Tech Skills: *

   - *SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012, SSIS, SSRS, Scripts (VB.net, .net,
   C#, VB Scripts) Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Functions, Performance
   Tuning.*
   - *Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university*
   - *Strong Interpersonal skills*
   - *High level of integrity and dependability with a sense of urgency*



*Here is the JD:*

*Tile : Business Application Developer.*

   - Must have at least 5 plus years prior hands-on experience developing
   SQL Server 2012 based applications using industry standards, specifically
   SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and one plus year with SQL Server
   Reporting Services (SSRS). Insurance experience is a plus.
   - Primary responsibilities include writing packages, stored procedures,
   triggers, ad-hoc queries, process documentation. Troubleshoot and optimize
   the performance of packages and stored procedures. Must be detail oriented
   to succeed in this role.
   - This position will include supporting the Actuarial and Finance
   Department operating functions with a high level of coordination with the
   Berkley Custom Technology department.
   - The successful candidate will be analytical, a self-starter, able to
   work independently, deadline oriented and will perform duties as assigned.
   Further the candidate will need to anticipate and trouble shoot operating
   issues and resolve them in a timely fashion.



*More Details on Responsibilities*

   - Must have extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services.
   Excellent knowledge of databases, data warehouse/modeling concepts and
   understanding of business intelligence.
   - Strong knowledge of creating SSIS packages using transformation.
   - Good knowledge of creating reports using SSRS.
   - Must be proficient in scripting (VB.net, .net, C#, VB Scripts).
   - Must have extensive experience with Stored Procedures, Triggers,
   Views, and Functions.
   - Experience building complex reports using Query/Report.
   - Query performance analysis and tuning.
   - Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
   - Excellent analytical skills, documentation, and ability to work in
   teams and/or independently.
   - Fast learner and excellent documentation habits.
