*JOB SUMMARY*
This position supports Project & Program Managers by performing planning,
analysis, coordination, and reporting activities to keep projects on
schedule and within budget. Responsible for the elicitation, tracking, and
interpretation of project data and information, and for providing
recommendations for improvement or correction.
This is a career entry point to project management, for individuals with
experience working in and leading teams, with an interest in supporting and
learning how to manage complex projects and programs. Ideal candidates are
recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology, and an
interest in the Financial Services industry. At least a few technology
courses in the curriculum are ideal in order to be able to understand and
interact with technology teams.


*RESPONSIBILITIES*
• Govern the time reporting system for specific projects. Ensure time is
reported consistently and accurately. Analyze reported time for
inconsistencies with the project schedule.
• Track project costs against the budget. Create and analyze monthly budget
reports based on resource actual hours, travel expenses, hardware and
software purchases, and capital expenses.
• Maintain the resource staffing plan to track resource requirements and
availability, to ensure the project is properly staffed.
• Maintain documentation of project and program-level risks and issues,
including ensuring impact analyses and mitigation/resolution plans are
captured. Responsible for escalation to the PM where required, and
executing follow-ups on risk/issue closure.
• Work with the project manager to maintain the project schedule and
conduct analysis on slipped tasks, upcoming milestones, and dependencies.
Research variances and report on or escalate findings.
• Assist with tracking inter-project and task dependencies and report on
impact to schedules at the project and program level.
• Organize and maintain project documentation and project SharePoint site.
• Compile project status reports.

*QUALIFICATIONS*
2-5 years related project & program management support/coordination
experience, and experience with project scheduling tool(s). Excellent
analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle
multiple tasks and priorities. Familiarity with project management
methodologies and best practices. Comfort working in a matrix organization,
and with cross-cultural international teams.
