*The Senior Network Engineer, will be responsible for the engineering,
operation and support of Client’s U.S. network infrastructure. The
candidate is expected to be a well-rounded network engineer with extensive
experience in planning and implementing network projects as well as
providing high-quality network engineering support to projects being led by
other parts of the organization.*

*The job role encompasses the full life-cycle of network engineering,
including detailed requirements analysis, planning and design,
configuration and physical installation, documentation, maintenance and
operational support of all network solutions to deliver global data, voice
and chat solutions to all Client users and authorized partners.*

*The candidate must be innovative, independent, highly disciplined and able
to work with limited direction and conform to shifting priorities, demands
and timelines.*

*Education and Experience*

Ø  Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems, Engineering,
or other related scientific or technical discipline. (May substitute
relevant work experience for educational requirement)

Ø  5 to 7 years total relevant experience in the following:

• Designing, installing and maintaining Cisco-based networking systems

• Enterprise H.323 and SIP VoIP call-delivery technologies

• Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing Cisco technologies

• Multi-vendor, multi-protocol converged TDM/VoIP global call center
environments

• Current CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification required

• Experience as lead network engineer managing people and projects

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to facilitate interactions
with clients and members of other technology teams

• Ability to communicate, and present verbally and written, with a high
level of confidence and skill.

• Experience with current networking best practices in IT standards and
principles.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent technical documentation skills

• The ability to work under pressure and to meet all deadlines

• Commitment to keep up-to-date with IT trends and developments

*Responsibilities:*



• Provide direction and mentoring to U.S. Network team members (e.g.,
day-to-day tasks, requests for time away, performance evaluation)

• Configure, install, and support network hardware and software
infrastructure as assigned, including switches, routers, firewalls, voice
gateways, corporate wireless etc. with adherence to defined corporate and
industry standards

• Maintain the highest level of uptime for a complex carrier-grade global
network

• Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for internal and external customers

• Produce, enhance and maintain corporate network standards documentation
and diagrams

• Track, detail, and remediate network infrastructure-related issues as
assigned through the Incident and Change Management process

• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting and remediation of network
events as assigned and conduct all necessary follow-up actions based on
assignments

• Monitor network performance and utilization

• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend improvements to the network
infrastructure through new hardware, software, services, technologies and
methods to improve efficiency, stability, reliability and cost-effectiveness

• Monitor and maintain all levels of network security internally and
externally

• Maintain IP subnet and port allocations

• Review and recommend annual hardware maintenance changes

• Provide technical input on RFP/RFQ opportunities

• Build, manage and support all Customer, Vendor and Corporate Remote
Access IPSec and SSL VPN’s

• Support counterparts in Philippines and the U.K.

• Maintain Backups of all device configurations in case of disaster recovery

• Consistently work to improve and optimize the overall network
environment, implementing Best-Practice solutions and technology upgrades
while always maintaining the highest possible level of service availability

• Work closely with peers in Telecoms, Systems, Call Center, and
Development teams for integration and mission success
